I believe that milliontown referred to Oxford, where the book is set, as the population of Oxford it around a million... or something... I may have dreampt that...

Perhaps, in a rather self defeating way, this thread will only contain posts attempting to decipherer what the thread is about.

Weird...

I'm skipping it as well, just doesn't look worth it.
If it ain't broke don't no need to fix it and all that and short of it making me toasted scones when I get up in the morning, I'm not all that interested!

Great news!! :D

Change is as good as a rest, and it would seem that Jems not big on resting, so I look forward to a new and interesting direction from the output of mr Godfrey and hope that we see him come back to frost* recharged at some point in the future! :D

Cheers everyone for your kind words of welcome! :D

Thank you also Boswell for your glowing review! I just realised that you recently posted a cover of Snowman as well (so I'm sorry if I've made things a little snowman heavy around here) which I think is an absolute blinder!!

Any more reviews of the covers would be greatly appreciated, I'm always looking for some constructive criticism ;)

Cheers again

Hello all!

I've finally decided to take the dive and emerge from out of the shadows and properly join the forum after the recent excellent gigs (I was at Manchester and Derby wearing a Christmas hat.)

It feels wonderful to finally be here and I'm not sure why I didn't join sooner as I've been a huge fan for several years.

Anyway, as a peace offering, here is a cover of snowman I did a while ago

(I sent it to Jem on twitter when I originally did it a while ago and was a bit of a novice, not that I'm an expert now, so some of the vocals sound a bit dodgy and there are some bits of my trumpet playing that make me cringe a bit... but hey ho, here it is for you lot now)

And a cover of wedding day, which I believe was an out take from milliontown...
