No Jem here either. Apparently I live in America. Which is weird.

Change your country to UK and he'll show up  :)

Interesting... thank you for the information. But now remains the question: why did they call it the Tappan Zee bridge?

The Tappan Zee (also Tappan Sea or Tappaan Zee) is a natural widening of the Hudson River, about 3 mi (5 km) across at its widest, in southeastern New York in the United States. It stretches about 10 mi (16 km) along the boundary between Rockland and Westchester counties, downstream from Croton Point to Irvington. It derives its name from the Tappan Native American sub-tribe of the Delaware/Lenni Lenape, and the Dutch word zee, meaning a sea or a wide expanse of water.[3]
Flanked by high steep bluffs of the New Jersey Palisades in the Hudson Valley, it forms something of a natural lake on the Hudson about 10 mi (16 km) north of Manhattan. Communities along the Tappan Zee include Nyack and Haverstraw on the western side, as well as Ossining, Tarrytown, and Croton-on-Hudson on the eastern side. It is crossed by the Tappan Zee Bridge, opened in 1955 and about 3.1 mi (5 km) long, connecting Nyack and Tarrytown.
On September 14, 1609, the explorer Henry Hudson entered the Tappan Zee while sailing upstream from New York Harbor. At first, Hudson believed the widening of the river indicated that he had found the Northwest Passage. He proceeded upstream as far as present-day Troy before concluding that no such strait existed there.
The Tappan Zee is mentioned several times in Washington Irving's famous short story, "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow". The tale is set in the vicinity of Tarrytown, in the area near Irving's own home at Sunnyside.

Cool, but what was the prefered biscuit of the bridge builders?

I believe it was these ;)

Looking forward to the Deaf Nobodies interview special for Celebr8.2, assuming that you're not too busy on the days to do one, that is.
Perhaps you could interview everyone while James triggers one of the Hippodrome's flippin' noisy hand dryers. :)

Then you can sample it and put it at the end of a song  ;)

Quote from: "RobRideout"That sounds incredible. I want that now. We will definitely have that on posters, Pedders!

I've setup a bandcamp site and everything now, so all that remains is to actually get stuff done. All I need now is to work out some artwork. How I wish I was good at that type of thing...

Not sure if you're going with Pedro's band name, but here's a little bit of concept artwork you can mull over, if you want to. This is a small version. I can give you a higher res one if you like it.

If anyone is interested in hearing the full Radio 2 jingle package in one place there is a great little podcast here that showcases them all together. Fast forward through the talking to 18:15 if you just want to hear the jingle package.

I tried lining up the audio when I created the video above. Problem is it's actually 2 different versions of Pocket Sun. I think the version Craig is playing to is more of a demo. There is only one verse before he goes into the solo part. So not possible I'm afraid.

I believe someone wanted a mash-up of Andy and Craig playing Pocket Sun.

I would just like to say a MAHOOSIVE thank you to Fogey and, indeed, all the other video contributors (you know who you are) who took the time out from enjoying the show to provide those of us who were not fortunate enough to be there in person, the ability to be a part of the evening!! Herculean contribution and much appreciated!

Many many thanks. Looks like it was a whole lot of fun.
