I feel for everybody that was involved, it truly does suck.

Manchester definitely and hopefully Summer's End provided I can find a way to make it work financially and logistically.

Are they on tour??

Bugger. I'd love to catch 'em live. I'm confined to barracks till the ikkle baby G arrives.  :D , yet,  :?

I think they're just doing small festival-y type dates, I'm sure they're myspace would tell you more.

I saw them at Sound City in Liverpool which is a kind of City wide multi-venue festival featuring gigs and conferences. And being a student I managed to blag a free pass  :D .

I must say if you get the chance after baby G arrives you should definitely see them!

Thanks for the recommendation guys, got the chance to see them at Soundcity in Liverpool and they were great (apart from the mandatory live sound issues)! I definitely suggest you see them live if you get the chance.

Very sad loss. I am glad I got to see him with Heaven & Hell last year though.

I'm liking the stuff on the myspace quite a lot  :) It's somewhat similar to what I've been writing recently.

I'd be very interested in buying a copy of the EP if you get online ordering sorted.

Is it just me prying ears, or do I hear a little bit of influence of Mr Vai's more recent structures in there? (7:32-8:13 in particular) Please don't take offence!

It's weird that you would say that because to me it sounds like Spock's Beard. Can't quite put my finger on why I'd say that though.

Whatever the case the whole thing is bloody marvellous!

Quite a few good albums this year, this is going to be a tough choice.

1. Enter Shikari - Common Dreads
2. Transatlantic - The Whirlwind
3. Dream Theater - Black Clouds & Silver Linings
4. Darwin's Radio - Template for a Generation
5. Between the Burried and Me - The Great Misdirect or Muse - The Resistance

There's definitely a few more I could of added to that, but I'll refrain for now.

Let me offer my thanks for one of the best gigs in quite a while. Was an experience to say the least ;) . Also huge thanks to JM and Nathan who were thoroughly brilliant.
I must agree about the globe, my first time there last night and thought it was rather nice, something about cardiff and nice venues, I'm sure I remember jem saying something about bringing the full band down sometime in the future.
Anyway I'm sure ive rambled enough now, best get back to my train journey home.

Oh and thanks again Jem, John and Nathan.

You are familiar with Kino, of course?

Of course I am, this has just wet my appetite ten fold.
