Gigs / Ticket problems for the Rescheduled shows
July 08, 2022, 12:22:19 PM
Afternoon all, it's been a while..

I wondered if anyone else had had difficulties with getting refunds from See Tickets?

I had tickets for the original London date in April but can't go to the rescheduled date on the 1st December so asked for a refund in February and...nothing! I've chased about half a dozen times and only ever got an automated 'we will respond within 5 working days' response, and no refund.

See tickets don't seem to have any other contact method other than a web form either. I haven't had the tickets yet, so I suppose in theory I should still get them and could try and sell them on...

Anyone had any experiences with See tickets and any ideas?

Luckily I've got tickets for the Leeds gig so all is not lost... 8)

Gigs / Re: Best Gig of 2012

Actually, having had another think, I need to add:

Celebr8! Only made the Sunday but what a lineup....

It Bites at Manchester Academy in December. Fantastic gig, especially considering the various illnesses affecting the band.

Ooh, this is difficult!

My top three would be:

Rush in Toronto in October. My all time favourite band of all time in their home town. Amazing. And amazingly expensive but worth it. (ask Bert)

Frost*bites - even though I missed the first 10 minutes as we only started queuing at 7 it was a brilliant gig. Two of my favourite bands on one stage on the same night!

Touchstone/The Reasoning - at the Railway in Bromley Cross (near Bolton). A great atmosphere in a tiny venue but lots of fun. Two bands on top form.

Get to as many gigs as is financially possible!

Hopefully this will begin with the CRS awards and will be closely followed by the Marillion weekend and Dan Reed in March and then Celebr8.2 and some trio from Canada in May  ;)

I'm also looking forward to lots of Frost*ieness throughout the year of course. Can't wait for the fruits of the upcoming DVD thingamabob!

LOVE the new logo! Another work of genius by the lovely Mr VitP!

I may not have much room in the wardrobe but I do want a t-shirt with this on it...

Agree with Mouse - a fabulous Xmas message and much more pertinent and relevant than the one from Liz  ;)

Can't wait for the Frost*3 reports....

Why thankyou very much guys!

Due to my advanced age it has taken a while to reply. I am now away to consume more biscuits to build up my strength for the excesses of New Year!
