I'm guessing it's solid state? I would love to make myself a valve (tube) poweramp but as always its finding the time.

Yes the lights do dim when I turn it on actually..  

Class A Integrated amp but has the warmth of a tube amp.  Most likely due to the separate mono amp construction I suppose.  It's a fun hobby, one that requires time and peace and quiet.  Being the father of two kids under the age of 4, something that is at a  premium.....

I say to her, "combined it is far less than golfing or boating,skiing etc....", and she also doesn't think it cost more than her wedding ring......heeeheeeheee!

I was simply curious as to what type of audio systems most Frosties are using.  I just happen to be an audiphile geek.
