Dear Mr Godfrey, sir,
Am I right in thinking that your new abode-a-wee is quite near to Bath?
It is just that Steve Howell, erstwhile maker of synthipoo librarian noises and someone I know you know, had no idea that you have moved (and yes, he DID have a Mellotron, a Wurlitzer Piano and a fabulous ARP Axxe back in the late 1970's when he and I used to do proggy-esque type music for school plays and the like). He is not so keen on the genre now but I blinkin' am and feel that you probably could be one of the saviours of the universe (and quite often my underpants).
Just thought I'd mention that.

Hi Twang,
It's probable that I've cocked this up again and missed out on getting tickets for 2 J's and an A on 7th November since I was not sure if this gig would be completely cancelled to Mr Godfrey's War Wound.
Are there any left and what is the ostensible damage if so?
The Cockup Kid,

Ask Frost* / Peeling Out Across the Rooftops
December 21, 2008, 02:40:11 PM
Superb! I talk, naturally, of the Peel gig last night.
I had no idea of the size of the place; compact is not in it!
What a great set particularly the seasonal opening of Black Light Machine. But Milliontown in total was gobsmacking and the two encores, Lamb Lies Down/The Other Me and I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day were wondrous. The first time I saw Genesis was on the 'Lamb' tour in 1975 (I'm an old git) and your version folks was as close as you could get to the 'older group'. Interesting that you didn't get to 'Fly on a Windshield' since that is where all the Mellotron kicks in and Jem you re-itterated your hate of the instrument. Another Steve Howell/Hollow Sun sample perhaps. He actually owned one in 1977 and I remember having to lug it with three other to a practice hall, ouch!
Who was the :D  :D  'guest singer' on the old Wizzard favourite? Could it be another Edwards family member cos he looked remarkably like a certain drum throne batterer.

Any way, thanks folks indeed for a brilliant start to Christmas!http://www.frostmusic.net/frosties/posting.php?mode=post&f=3&sid=900e93fb10f311e07267885ca0d039c3#

Stoopid Question I know, but where have all the Beanie hats gone?

Frost* / Re: EIMA - Whats your favourite track ?
November 26, 2008, 07:22:55 PM
Now Look 'ere!
EIMA, as in yon titular track, does suddenly run into 'WTN' as if the track has jumped don't it!
I have the Tour CD which has EIMA on it and it does end more traditionally on that.
Prob'ly ol' Jemasus 'aving a larf but 3 min 19 secs is quite a weird timing for the eponymous entry!
If anyone can comment, I will be pleased to hear your view.

Frost* / The Peel Gig in Desperation
November 26, 2008, 06:26:16 PM
I very much doubt it, but is there any kind, wonderful, humanitarian Frostie out there who has two tickets for the Peel gig on the 20th December which they don't require and would be happy to sell to a guy who couldn't get to Twang on time.
I tried for three weeks to contact John but without joy; I did reach him yesterday but ..... well you know what he said!
I, as you can imagine, am desperate!

Please help and contact me if you can.
Many thanks,
Joth Gambold
