Frost* / Fools! and what not
July 31, 2010, 05:17:23 PM
Well Well it seems my expectations regarding broadcasting have got lower once again

After a freakishly short amount of time the BBC contacted me about interviewing a band i work with. i thought excellent this might be a good little publicity opportunity (just remember not to say poo, cock or f*ck) so they took one of the tracks and said "see you friday"
so friday comes and we all head to the studio somebody nice greets us and takes us to the waiting room, where i see biscuits plus other confectionary i thought this was a good omen but alas it did not happen that way, before i could even grab a digestive we were ushered into the studio booth where the DJ said very little. So the announcement comes over that the track is about to start and we wait......only to hear something that sounds like a chimpmunk. For some reason they had pitch shifted the track up and sped it up i have no idea how or why. horrified we sit there dreading the interview which consisted of the DJ not letting us speak.........argh!!!!!

i hope the next one goes smoother!!! i have no ill wishes for the british broadcasting guys and gals but my god!!!
