Frost* / Milliontown and EIMA on vinyl
May 29, 2021, 09:55:51 AM
So having got these on every available format to date, I really don't need to get the vinyl as well, especially with Milliontown chopped into 2 pieces - do I?   ::)

The release of the Darby Todd album (very good btw) got me going back through the CD collection to find other artists where JG had guested.  It's not a very long list:
Working backwards:
Darby Todd - The Reality of Zeros and Ones - 2021 - I'm Tweeked/Attack of the 20lb Pizza; Quadrant 4; Beginning of the End; Apathy in the Face of Uncertain Death.
Nick d'Virgilio - Invisible - 2020 - Turn Your Life Around; Mercy
Lonely Robot - Please Come Home - 2015 - Airlock; Lonely Robot
Losers - And So We Shall Never Part - 2014
It Bites - Calling All The Heroes (In Aid of the Cumbria Flood Recovery Fund) - 2010 (Download only)
Tinyfish - Big Red Spark - 2010 - Weak Machine
Christina - Broken Lives and Bleeding Hearts - 2010 - Deep Ocean (Oceans Deep Jem Godfreys Remix)
Aeon Zen - Face of the Unknown - 2010 - Unnatural Selection
Big Big Train - The Underfall Yard - 2009 - The Underfall Yard
Lee Abraham- Black and White - 2009  -The Mirror

What have I missed?

Maybe you have all seen this via Twitter, but JICYMI
Prog have taken the risky task of asking people to vote for the Greatest Prog Musician of All Time.  No doubt your favourite will be in there.   ;)
Frost* / Nick D'Virgilio - Invisible
June 27, 2020, 05:28:07 PM
Thought this belongs here as Nick has been an excellent stand in drummer for Frost* on US dates.

I've only heard the stream and haven't seen sleeve notes but it sound like the new album features solos from Jem on both Turn Your Life Around and Mercy   8)
Announcements / 8 CD Boxset anyone?

Message from JG on Twitter   8)

Frost* update - 8 CD boxset mixed and mastered and called "13 Winters". Album 4 is well underway, album 5 is taking shape and is called "Uhtceare".
With thanks to Gr8Gonzo for alerting me to this.

A dream for a US Frost*ie with deep pockets?
Gigs / Snarky Puppy - London 6 October
October 04, 2015, 12:00:16 PM
Late notice I know, but I have maybe two but definitely one ticket available in row B on Tuesday.
You won't get much closer unless you fancy standing and if you're as old as me ... ;)

Any interest?
I've had to re-book for Cambridge as I can't make this one.
Ticket hasn't been delivered yet but it's seat A30 which is on the far left of the stage - Nick Beggs will be in front of you.
Cost was £45ish - any takers before I spread the net wider?  PM me if so
Feel free to tune in at 8pm UK time tonight and join the Facebook chat.

You'll find it at and there'll also be a podcast afterwards if you can't make it tonight

I "won" the opportunity to co-host this at Celebr8.3, so there will be Frost*iness early on, with the story of how Frost* started me on the road to tonight in Clacton...   8)

Other Bands / Transatlantic in the UK - 2014
September 20, 2013, 08:29:56 PM
Hasn't been well advertised - just by a kind soul on the Big Big Train Facebook group.
Got my seated ticket this morning

Seems that I'll miss out on Summers End again this year.  Would have crossed the country to see Moon Safari on the Friday, but then this "warm up" gig came up at the Solstice.  Costs a meagre £10 and being promoted by Chris Allen who is the keyboard player in the support band and told me..

We are so pleased that Moon Safari have agreed to come and play in Peterborough.
My Paypal address is the same as my email one"> so you could pay that way if you prefer or you could send a cheque to Chris Allen 35 Deeping Saint James road. Northborough. Peterborough. Cambridgeshire PE6 9BT.
We are not trying to make a profit just cover the costs for the P.A and venue. If it takes off I will be trying lots more obscure prog!
When I have your money I will send you an confirmation Email which you need to bring with you on the night as it will have your unique refence on.

See you there?   8-)
