Friends Of Frost* / Guest appearances by Jem Godfrey
« on: February 09, 2021, 06:43:18 PM »
The release of the Darby Todd album (very good btw) got me going back through the CD collection to find other artists where JG had guested.  It's not a very long list:
Working backwards:
Darby Todd - The Reality of Zeros and Ones - 2021 - I'm Tweeked/Attack of the 20lb Pizza; Quadrant 4; Beginning of the End; Apathy in the Face of Uncertain Death.
Nick d'Virgilio - Invisible - 2020 - Turn Your Life Around; Mercy
Lonely Robot - Please Come Home - 2015 - Airlock; Lonely Robot
Losers - And So We Shall Never Part - 2014
It Bites - Calling All The Heroes (In Aid of the Cumbria Flood Recovery Fund) - 2010 (Download only)
Tinyfish - Big Red Spark - 2010 - Weak Machine
Christina - Broken Lives and Bleeding Hearts - 2010 - Deep Ocean (Oceans Deep Jem Godfreys Remix)
Aeon Zen - Face of the Unknown - 2010 - Unnatural Selection
Big Big Train - The Underfall Yard - 2009 - The Underfall Yard
Lee Abraham- Black and White - 2009  -The Mirror

What have I missed?

Frost* / Vote for Jem, John M, Craig, Nick or Jon Jowitt?
« on: August 12, 2020, 07:51:38 AM »
Prog have taken the risky task of asking people to vote for the Greatest Prog Musician of All Time.  No doubt your favourite will be in there.   ;)

Frost* / Nick D'Virgilio - Invisible
« on: June 27, 2020, 05:28:07 PM »
Thought this belongs here as Nick has been an excellent stand in drummer for Frost* on US dates.

I've only heard the stream and haven't seen sleeve notes but it sound like the new album features solos from Jem on both Turn Your Life Around and Mercy   8)

Gigs / Snarky Puppy - London 6 October
« on: October 04, 2015, 12:00:16 PM »
Late notice I know, but I have maybe two but definitely one ticket available in row B on Tuesday.
You won't get much closer unless you fancy standing and if you're as old as me ... ;)

Any interest?

I've had to re-book for Cambridge as I can't make this one.
Ticket hasn't been delivered yet but it's seat A30 which is on the far left of the stage - Nick Beggs will be in front of you.
Cost was 45ish - any takers before I spread the net wider?  PM me if so

Announcements / Live from Progzilla Towers - 16 July 2104
« on: July 16, 2014, 12:16:57 PM »
Feel free to tune in at 8pm UK time tonight and join the Facebook chat.

You'll find it at www.progzilla.com and there'll also be a podcast afterwards if you can't make it tonight

I "won" the opportunity to co-host this at Celebr8.3, so there will be Frost*iness early on, with the story of how Frost* started me on the road to tonight in Clacton...   8)
