Ladies and genitals, I give you my interpretation of "Milliontown: Two Underground".

Whaddya mean, "He didn't do the whole song"?!  :shock: Well, first off, I'm not Andy Edwards.  Secondly, I didn't feeling like editing half-an-hour of video.  Thirdly, I'm not Andy Edwards.

Not just the song, but the whole album.  I'm especially intrigued by the "sad" vocal effect on "Snowman".  I'm familiar with time stretching on a track - lowering the pitch without slowing down, etc. - but it sounds like it was manipulated manually...in real time.  Like a guitarist uses the expression pedal to increase or decrease an effect.  How?  For the love of Pete, how?!?!? *sob*  

I have actually another question...  8-)

LOVE LOVE LOVE the abrupt stops in the music, e.g. between the 1st bridge and the interlude of "No Me No You".  Was manual erasing involved?  How many tracks had to be bussed?  Blah blah, yadda yadda. lol

Hey, thanks everyone for the warm welcome over the weekend!      

Just wanted to introduce myself.  Don't know if you could tell from my arrogant bombast of a post title that I am, indeed, a U.S. citizen.  California, to be exact.

They call me Jimmy.  To my face, at least. I succumbed to the Frost*ing, as it were, via Spock's Beard's website, particularly the recent news of NDV sitting in on drums.  The link was there, beckoning.  I clicked...

A UK pop songwriter doing prog?!  HAHAHAHA--  Oh, wait.  Didn't Todd Rundgren do that, too?  Yes.  Yes, I believe he did.  And quite well, actually.  "The Ikon" still gets many plays on my iPod.  So I meandered around and, upon seeing a 25+ minute epic, finally decided to take the plunge.  Bought "Milliontown" on iTunes.  "Hyperventilate" is now on endless loop.  

Also discovered the Frost Reports.  Good God, Jem's freakin' hilarious when he gets the drum "box": "Oh, it's really startin' ta warm up now... *inhaling* Fags!"  I think I'm now a lifelong Frostington!  That is, if you'll have me.  8-)
