i know it's VERY last minute but for reasons I will never be able to understand or get my head round, one of my friends has pulled out of tonight's gig...

Suffice to say, it's only fair someone has it!

I of course will be there tonight so whoever wants it can meet me on the door and we'll sort the money out then. I'm not after profit, just the straight retail price we paid, call it 35 quid...

As of June 20th I will be spending 4 months on the Diamond Princess Cruise Ship as part of a functions band called Vitalized touring through Alaska and down to Japan!!!!!

I can't tell ANYONE at work because if they knew I'd get fired before June!! :S

I'm so chuffed, it's going to be amazing....
Simply can't wait to get out of this boring office job and into working as a musician for a living!!!!

One for everyone but I'm particularly interested in what jem has to say given he's written the final song for one of them...

What are people's opinions on shows like the X Factor/Pop Idol etc etc?
I was sat there getting my haircut earlier and heard Alexandra singing "hallelujah"
and couldn't help but think what it would've been like had Eoghan or whatever his name was sang it...Yet it would have still been number one..

My personal opinion is that whilst it's brilliant for the people who win (how long that fame lasts for is a seperate discussion!) but it's not doing the industry and favours. I mean there's something not right when there's a guaranteed number one and you don't even know who's singing it yet! That can't be right! Things are changing all the time and no more than right now it would seem so how do people think these kinds of shows and their related 'guaranteed' success in the charts affects the industry and how people view the charts as a whole?

Just thought it would be a good topic for discussion

A friend of mine can't make the gig on Saturday and to be honest I'd rather it went to a dedicated Frost*ie than another friend who won't appreciate what they're seeing as much as some of you guys would

Are there any takers? I'm hoping to get to Kingston a bit earlier to meet some of you wonderful people so there'd be plenty of time to collect the ticket!!

 

Well I pre-ordered the signed copy of the album a few weeks ago through CRS, and the money's gone out my account yet I'm seeing a sign on the website saying they can't sell Frost* stuff anymore cause of violating a clause meaning they have to no longer be VAT free...
I haven't got the album yet either!!

Does this mean I've got to buy it again from somewhere else and get a refund??!
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm getting withdrawal symptoms knowing that it's out there and I don't yet own it!!!
