Hello guys and girls.
By some freak of nature/change in the weather, I've been nominated as 2015 best prog drummer of the year in Rhythm magazine. I don't normally go in for 'best' etc but it's a huge honour to be even thought about in the same breath as the greats. I pretty much know I won't win but if you'd take literally 5 seconds to tick my name on this link and pass it on/share to anyone that will listen i'd genuinely be extremely greatful, it would be nice to make a dent in the usual suspects winning it year after year. Thank you so much. See you soon

to all you guys for the great turn out last night, it made it all very worthwhile. We all couldn't believe how rammed the venue was (there's another story)

I'm sure, t'others will be along to say "thank you" but just wanted to say thank you personally, its been a ridiculous year for me this year with all sorts of things going on and a mega amount of traveling and you guys topped off my year last night, I hope all you drummer types enjoyed it, we've been rehearsing hard and it was nice to have some fun with the music with Nath on my end (fnar puns expected)

Until the next time.....

Merry christmas and a positively alcoholic new year

Good morning all,

Me and the wonderful Alex Hutchings have been working on a little duo recently in our spare time. We wrote a load of stuff in a couple of days and then flew out to Japan and filmed it for Roland and Boss, the idea to show ideas and technology. on the live shows we are doing soon, I'm playing bass, Al on drums into loopstations etc etc and building tracks from there. I've used a few different kits and I'm changing them on a pad under the hi-hat

Here are two of the tracks, I hope you enjoy them, we had so much fun doing this even though it was very very late by the time we stopped filming  ;)

Best Wishes
Craig

Quote from: "El_Mayonnaise"Dear Crag,

Hi Crag, why have you not yet been invited to touch Jem's keyboard? From my past previous watchings of gigs, many Frost people touch the keyboard to produce what I can only describe as a fluting effect in the song Milliontonnes.

When can we expect you to touch Jem's flute?

Many sincerities,
RIch

The "i" on your keyboard needs sorting out before I can ever speak to you again

I believe the Yakuza have a policy of cutting off a finger for any member who makes a mistake. As an educational exercise, do you think should be applied to guitarists, too?

Owen

I think it should happen to all people contemplating guitar...

Quote from: "johninblack"Dear Craig,

Drum kit made out of Lego or drum kit made from Meccano? Pros and cons please :)

the older I get I noticed that lego seems to get smaller so the tonal qualities of a 4 knob brick are not what the once used to be. Meccano on the other hand still has the amazing overtones that I remember as a child so in my mind only a fool would use a lego drum kit

Quote from: "RobRideout"Dear Craig,

Obviously, as a drummer, your drumsticks will rarely leave your side. I was therefore wondering what other household tasks you would perform using these wonderful tools, and do you use a specific kind of stick for a certain job?

From Rob.
Aged 21 and a half.

of course, I recently stuck 567 together and managed to clear berol's drains from number 47 from the comfort of my own back garden

I also managed to clad the whole of the front of my house with some vater 7as

Frost* / Mammoth Bike ride - Help Needed
April 04, 2012, 07:33:04 AM
Hey Guys, I hope you are well

looking back on me saying yes to this I'm starting to question my sanity, but...

In August, with the directors of Roland UK, I'll be cycling from John O'Groats to lands end in 10 days, its an average of nearly 100 miles a day. The next 4 months training are going to be brutal but the causes are amazing, Children in need and music for all.

I've put my body through some pretty mad things over the years but nothing like this. I know times are very hard for all but even if its just a couple of quid, or please forward to your own social network sites then i'd be so very gratefulI. I hope I can count on your support, I'll be blogging progress very soon. If I get 5,000 people donating a £1 then that would be amazing. The link is on the page below, please leave a message, I'll make sure I respond to you all personally

I hope you can help
Best Wishes
