You can't replace Craig 8) find the next Frost* drummer, perhaps...  ;) Maybe call Mr Blundell?

Jem has put it on Twitter...
"The setlist btw was - The Boy In The Radio, Letting Go, Numbers, Don't Say, Picture, The Secret Song, Ghosts, Heartstrings, Closer To The Sun, In Floral Green, Big Machine, Falling Down, Hyperventilate, Losers Day Parade. We did have Don't You Want Me Baby on standby, alas..."

Eclectic Lonely Robot, reimagined Falling Down. Awesome Closer to the Sun, punchy Numbers... Beautiful rendition of the  Secret Song, Loser's Day Parade. Not in that order, and with a host of other stuff... In my imagination they played Towerblock, but they didn't, it was just in my own head. Still rattling around from Dingwalls! What else?

Oh yeah, there was some banter from the host, about an up and coming girl-proof prog gig that might be female compatible. We "women prog appreciators" were already here. Soz n'all. Nice you had Close to the Edge artwork upstairs, been a prog fan since 1973... Move on.
Some of us drag our bloke mates to prog gigs. 🤗

We went for the concert, not for the meal. A long wet drive, very worth it as the gig and giggles were top class! Met some others from Cambridge and Southend. Can't add to the great review above (or below) save to say I hadn't any idea what to expect from a furniture shop and the venue and the set list over-delivered in spades! 8)

Other Bands / Folk Fest Take-away Amy Montgomery

Amy Montgomery delivered a monumental cover of Trampled Underfoot in the first third of an otherwise original stompingly wild set. More than folk, rock and roll...

Not Prog, but not Folk, just amazing command of her craft - check out percussive guitarist Becky Langan!

:) And, had you been around three years ago you would've heard the Radio Caroline crew play Frost* out over the site PA...
So, wish you were here...
I will ask them to play Towerblock tomorrow. That should wake everyone up!

Ok. So tonight, in a (short) queue for the portaloo at the Prog in my Village fest which is the Cambridge Rock Festival, sandwiched between 4th Labyrinth and the rest of the weekend (which you lot seem to be missing, by means of overheating and turkey sheds and trying to be TA in gaming world) the next *album might be in play somehow. Or was it just the heat?
So, for the benefit of the boys, there is no such thing as a queue for the ladies facilities at a prog do. It was a portaloo *  revalation. I only turned my phone on because it was dark, and I couldn't see what to avoid! TMI...

 Crying (bawling) on the inside

I think it has been a privilege to watch this development journey in real time -  live, recorded and in commentary.
Towerblock live at Dingwalls was awesome, but so was talking with Craig at a drum clinic with my kids* and mates in Cambridge. And I skipped the last night of the Cambridge Folk Festival to drag everyone to Frost* at The Portland Arms, the hottest gig in creation, just to watch Craig and have Frost play round ours... All things change, glad to be part of that journey - and love and luck to all...
Saw the SW HCE warm-up gig at Cambridge, everything changes. That's prog. Been that way since the 70's...
What goes around comes around. Thank you for the music.
What's next then?
*Year 11 are watching....( September's Cambridge year 12
..Welcome to the Machine!)
