Here's a link to my photobucket photos from High Voltage for anyone who's interested:
//http://s56.photobucket.com/albums/g166/Cynthias_Mallet/July%202010/

I thought the weekend ROCKED!  I enjoyed Sunday more than Saturday but highlights for me were Pendragon, Saxon - Biff was a great crowd pleaser and looked HOT, Steve Hackett - even though I could have done with triple the set time, Bachman Turner - a surprising highlight for me, Argent - magical, and ELP - especially the Moog getting a cheer as it was brought on stage, Keith daggering his organ, the Moog Plank spraying sparks and of course, the canons going off which made me jump - Prog-f**king-tastic!  We were also there to see the Ian Hunter 'shouting and pointing' incident, and also a highlight was seeing Trevor Bolder and hearing that famous bass - you were almost back with the Spiders at times.  Thanks to Mr & Mrs Pedders for the front row spot during Bigelf - got some nice shots.

Mike, is this a general Esoteric Photos thread or would you prefer I post a few of mine on another thread - they won't be anywhere near your standard of course!

It takes me long enough to sort, edit and trim my photos, so I can only imagine how long it took to edit that together, brilliant job as always Pedders, I spent yesterday afternoon watching it over and over whilst recovering from the 3am ferry after Threshold - great stuff and thanks for preserving a truly unique evening!

It's me!  On the telly!  Thanks to the wonders of old technology I pressed 'pause' on the VHS and took a photo  :lol:

Blimey, it's all happening!  Well, I think everything has been said, but good luck John, I'm sure we'll all be out supporting your new venture, such is the warm and fuzzy communal spirit of Frost*ies and proggers in general  :D

Looks like we might be sharing a ferry with Nathan - two Caulkheads play with Frost*, how cool is that?!!

Hope you're not too unwell John  :(  I've picked myself up a sore throat from somewhere, feel a bit poo today and I took the week off work too, typical!  Coming on here is distracting though, I suggest we both blast our respective barsteward virus/ills out with heavy doses of prog!  :twisted:

Here's the video I did and the little write up below:

"For anyone who missed The Peel gig, here's 'Light and Space' in its entirety, without the pauses as Karl Groom intended it to be heard '-)) Excuse the shakey cam, it's very hard to stay still during a Threshold gig!! It does get easier on the eyes after a minute or so and watch out for Damian singing "I know you" straight to camera :-) "

I suppose the video was on its maximum zoom too which made any movement more exaggerated on closeups - I'm very impressed with the quality of video my camera takes I have to say (it's lost a bit of clarity on the link compared to what I get on media player at home).  If I'm a distance away and struggling with good photos at least I can get some decent vid to remind me of a great night!

If you want to see a clip of Kyrbgrinder from the same night the video for that is just underneath on the same link - I stopped it as I couldn't get the focus back for some reason, Johanne's talky bit at the start is amusing!
