Quote from: "Trapezium Artist"
syd barrett and the effervescing elephant... 1.52 so 43.08 left to go
The Stranglers - Tank 02:57 so 40:11 to go.
Emerson, Lake & Palmer - Tank 6.49, so 33.22 to go
Led Zeppelin - How Many More Times 8.28, so 24.54 (is that right?) to go (sorry, no Milliontown this time round...unless we dump syd...)
CHVRCHES - Lies (3:31, leaving 21:23)

(Seriously, if you can admit to yourself that you liked The Human League [remember Dare by Twats in Hats  8-) ?], then listen to / watch the utterly compelling video for Lies http://http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WUvJBD9MVI4 and imagine a CHVRCHES / Lauren Mayberry / Godfrey [if not Frost*] collaboration ...    I'm trying to work out how I can get up to Groningen for a very rare gig by them next Thursday at 23:00 and then back home in time for my son to have surgery on his collarbone the next morning ...  :? )
It's mustard after diner...two day's ago i noticed your link and was surprised by the quality of the song and voices, directly having flashback's when i was 18; found myself dressing in black looking for pennies on the floor(we called that a sort of dancing :-) ). I was so close... I would have loved to see the show, but unfortunately i had a gig a few hundred meters up north. Thanks! bringing it to my attention.

A friend told me about them and it's quite ok. It reminds me of Enchant.

Any Other Business / Any tips on what to do at 40?
« on: November 22, 2011, 12:05:38 AM »
I have to face the facts: i'm 40. Is there something i can do to compensate the feeling of loosing my youth? I already got a motorcycle and broke up with a girl who's 10 years younger then me. Is there anything besides listening to prog?

Any Other Business / Create your album art in 4 steps
« on: January 08, 2011, 09:24:37 PM »
I found this on facebook:

1 - Go to wikipedia and hit random. The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band. 2 - Go to quotationspage.com and hit random. The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album. 3 - Go to flickr and click on “explore the last seven days”. Third picture no matter ...what it is, will be your album cover. 4 - Use photoshop or similar (picnik.com is a free online photo editor) to put it all together. 5 - Post it with this text in the caption.

It would be funny to make a series of "nearly released albums"
This is my creation:
