Hi friends,
Thought I should share some great footage from a concert I played last weekend! It was with Mike Mills, the genius behind Toehider. I accompanied him on piano and we played some acoustic crazy proggy goodness. Definitely check out his music if you don't know of it already.
Anyway he's from another city and we only had one rehearsal the night before of this stuff, but yeah it was a smashing concert, had such a rush from being so nervous.

The footage from the show is here:

But if you only watch one:

Enjoy!  :D

You're very welcome Pedro. Glad it arrived safely!
Dave @ The European Perspective is a class act hahah  :D Playing all our longest songs... What a champ.

Quote from: "Dave M"Good stuff, having a listen now .. don't know why, but to hear an Australian accent on the vocal made me sit up and listen .. probably too used to hearing vocals with mid atlantic accents I guess  :D

Some quality musicianship on display there too.

D

Thanks Dave! Glad you appreciate the difference. We've been copping a bit of flak over the vocals but I wouldn't change anything really.

Quote from: "Jem"There'll certainly be the intention of that in there, yes. Milliontown was "up" and shiny, EIMA was deliberately dark and keyboard-lite. The latter won us a whole new younger, non prog audience, especially in the USA which was very important. It got us the attention of bands like Dream Theater and Porcupine Tree. F*3 will put the keys and sound design firmly back in the spotlight, but hopefully still keep that younger audience whilst re-igniting the original Milliontown audience. The aim is to sell more records than the last two combined thus assuring the future of the band. This is make or break time basically. But in a good way.  :D

Do you think that if you kept radically changing tack from album to album that it would be difficult to retain a core audience?
Not a rhetorical question, you obviously know more about this stuff than I...

Stoked you're mentioning Quandary in the same breath as The Third Ending anyway, those guys are brilliant.  :)

Wow!
I owe that to you mate, I wouldn't have known to take the initiative to contact him. Thankyou, seriously, MUCH appreciated Pedders.  :)

But yes, I've been in touch with David since and he's a real nice dude.
I can't wait to get home and listen to it!

Listened to this a few times now, what a cool album. My only complaint is that it's too short.
The synthesized drums sound really cool, never out of place, really suits the production. "Winter to Summer" is the highlight for me, the whole ending section is really beautiful.
"Sometimes" didn't click with me at first, but oddly it's the one that sticks in my head when the album is over.

Dec, any plans to get this on iTunes or anything? I want to show it to some friends.

Cheers!
We're expecting some physical copies in the next couple of weeks. If you want one, it's free, just PM me your address!
If you want to download it, there will be options for that too. That bandcamp site Jem mentioned looks fucking amazing frankly, definitely going to look at distributing it via a "pay what you want system" there.
