Alas Sir Pedders I am not playing with Lee at Winter's End - funny you asked though because I think I might have been responsible for making his decision about taking the album out on the road and was all ready to participate until some other priority items got in the way.

Lee has amassed a great band though (including Mully on drums who is also a secret member of Neptune's Sofa [hush hush]) so it should be a great show.

Expect some stuff from the Sofa this year though....bet you all can't wait :)

Bit different.  What do you reckon?

B xx  :P

Found this gem on one of the sites and thought it was a moment of comedy gold and could not have put it better myself :)

That's one boat trip where I'd be praying to get kidnapped by Somali pirates."

The Keeley offering is the nads but you could buy 1/3 of a TC electronic G system for the price of the pedal alone - I opted for the G system which has made my previous life of pedal gymnastics a thing of the past.

The 15 min interval was by design in order to give both the band the time to refresh / change and the crowd to have an opportunity to take a break / queue for a leak / execute a leak / get a fag prior to the main event of playing the OATW album track-by-track - spoke with Johnny M and King prior to the Poole gig and they felt that was the best compromise. I appreciate it might have felt a bit stop-start but I hope to think the quality of the delivery of OATW from the band would have left you forgetting about the interval pretty rapidly.

Top man (and not forgetting woman!)

BTW on the comment about the solos, we performed them completely remote from each other and in fact without any reference points from each other - hence a miracle they gelled in any way shape or form :)
