Looks like the blog has relaunched yet again, it is a new year after all     though the link on the front page is dead now.

Seems like the new blog post got lost in a wilderness of blank page syndrome  

Thanks mate. I've got some fearful tunes to learn, but I'm already a better keyboard player than I was a week ago as a result.  

Will you be playing these gigs on a rig of your own design or are you using Keneally's set-up again?

Jem said earlier on Twitter... "Momentous moment! Just programmed my first Combi on the Kronos for the Vai G3 set!"

So I guess his rig is his own. I suppose doing the whole European leg of the tour means he's not just depping for a few nights.

Thanks Ped. I think it was I who misunderstood the original announcement as well, Jem isn't just playing for Satch this time.

Jem hasn't updated the blog since november 8th, so I guess apart from programming and rehearsing for the gig there's not much going on in Frost* land at the moment.  Wich iss fine really, but I was hoping we'd get a peek inside the new Cube in the near future.

It's really been a long strange trip since Jem turned off the lights on Frost* lo these many months ago but now he's back in sussex and moved into the new Cube.  It'll feel more real to me when the first Frost" reports start coming in but still, here wer are.

I don't think that's actually english, or any recognizable language of the human race for that matter  :?  You'd have to ask Jem why he posted that on the blog but that was way back in february and I believe that was rather dark time for him so who knows.

You know I had one of those but now I seem to have misplaced it and can't find it anywhere     I'd really like to find it again if only for here is the news and wedding day, the only missing officially released Frost* tracks in my collection.

Well, there's not much Frost* news to discuss is there? Seeing as there's no Frost* anymore.  As for Jem news it's a  fairly slow process as we've seen.

Time being what it is i.e. not like a jaffa cake that you can blat into a bigger surface area with a rolling pin, I'm temporarily suspending my own music so that I can focus on doing my bit for the fabulous new Losers' album. There isn't enough time, according to the Gregorian calendar and the Earth's orbit, to do three full time music jobs each day sadly.

This isn't such a bad thing actually as I can spend a bit more time finding my new "voice". I'm aware that it's not quite right yet and there's no point in hurrying something out that's not really what I want to sound like. Besides, what Tom and Eddy have come up with is so bloody good, I'm having a great time anyway.

What the chuff, let's enjoy the moment!

But I just can't help but feel a little odd to be still discussing what Jem's up to here, on the Frost* forum, when he's clearly moved on.

It's not that I'm taking it personally. It just seems to be adding to the sadness that he seems to be distancing himself from the Frost world rather than taking us with him, if that makes sense. It's probably not intentional, but that's the vibe it's giving off (to some anyway).

makes sense to me anyway, that's what I was trying to say.

But I suppose the answer the that would be that it's only up to us if we follow him or not.  But ragging on Frost*, wich we all loved dearly, isn't making it easy, at least to me.
