As most of us seem to be getting older.... Jem, to me, is looking a lot younger than he used to?

Perhaps Pocket Sun was inspired by his own experiences with time travel...

To my shame I wasn't, but in my defence I had already seen them so I didn't think I'd miss anything!

Anyway, just wanted to say that I'd never heard the faint whistle of the steam engine under the bird song in the fade-out of Last Day before.

I remember seeing feeder at Leeds Festival one year. Must have been 2002. They'd had a tough year as that was the year their drummer Jon Lee sadly committed suicide. I think it was one of their first gigs after keeping a low profile for quite a while, if not the first.

I liked Feeder at the time, but I wasn't massively excited about seeing them. You see a lot of bands in a short period over the space of 2 days at Leeds or Reading, so the novelty wears off a bit. I was expecting it to be alright, but nothing special.

Anyway it was a tent affair, not the main stage, and it was rammed. Overflowing even. And the band were awesome. One of the highlights of that weekend and it will always stick in my mind as one of the best gigs I've experienced. Worth missing whatever band was on the main stage at the time for sure.

I believe Brave New Sky became Audioplastik with a different drummer. Not Sure what happened to the track Silence that they previewed on YouTube though...

Hi Jake thanks. by the time of Craig's solo I had put my camera away and was enjoying the gig and a pint.  I heard the laughter but couldn't actually see what was going on from where I was.

Well I suppose you're allowed to enjoy the gig too

Which is why I prefer Satch to many of the other shredders out there... he can go from a torrent of notes to restrained and back, and knows when less is more... usually

I'm not overly familiar with Joseph Satchel's work, but that instantly makes me more interested in delving into to some of his music.

Interestingly I think the same could also be said of JM's solos!
