I am fully ready to help and contribute if Frost* needs it. Crowdfunding, kickstarter or what ever it might be.
You can count on me for sure lads.
Hello frosties!
My name's Sei and I'll be soon in London for a while (one week). I have the pleasure to see Frost*&ItBites live show on 16th this month, but I decided to stay few days more than just a week-end. I'll be there on wednesday 12th december until 18th, but I have no friends, no contacts there... So if you are not busy and want to take a little break with a frosty froggy, drinking coffee/tea, or lots of beer pints, have fun and keep me good company, let me know. Unfortunately, I can't use my phone in UK, so please just post a reply right here or by PM. Also, I will buy a phone card so you can give me your cell number if you want, easier to meet up.
Well, thanks for reading. I'm waiting for your answers and hope you are game for it! :P

after 11 months of sadness & despair, the 12th seems to be the greatest on this year! The Frost*vent Calendar & a live show, as George said, "What else ?" Thank you so much Jem & Frost* nebula! I'm like the old chap from "The man with the 4.7", you get me real hope and make me happy each time I listen to you. :D

Hello everyone.

@ Castalike & DavSel :
Will you be there on december's show?
Would you like to film the gig, if Frost* members are ok with that ?

Quote from: "RacingHippo"Ahhh, we all dream of The DVD.....

The last attempt took months to plan and prepare for and still went pear-shaped when it came to it (through no fault of the band's, who all put in a huge amount of work, especially Jem).
So if you're asking about NEXT year.....

I don't think anyone would dare mention "DVD" to Jem. He might asplode.

The way I (and most Dedicated Frost*ies) see it, we're thankful for whatever time Big Jay can devote to Frost*; we don't expect albums or even one-off songs, as he's so inordinately busy, so they're even more of a treat when they show up :)
So a DVD? Only if you manage to clone Jem, or give him a winning lottery ticket ;)

If it were to happen, it would need someone other than Jem to organise it - someone experienced in professional video production and event organisation.

So.. not impossible. But it'd take some work by anyone-but-Jem. And plying Jem with a lot of calming biscuits.

Well I said "DVD" but I thought more like a "homemade movie with an audio source quality better than cellphone's crispy recordings". Maybe using, for example, just 1 fixed camera, shorts shots from personnal devices (cellphones?) and something to record a basic medium quality sound.
Or I'm ready to pay and participate to a cameraman's services, if someone find a pro for the show (you know like for weddings).
Of course, I don't want Jem to organise it, I'm conscious that he is very busy!
If it will happened, I'll do my best but don't forget I don't live in London and I'm not English, so it might toughier than in France, but you can trust in my entire participation.

So excuse me but I have to pray the God of Prog all night long to make this possible.

I don't want to make anybody feels under pressure especially Jem. I wrote "Official" because it's important for me that Frost* members (and Jem firstly by the way) agree the project. I don't want to do it for my own business. I want to make it by fans for fans with Jem's approuvement. If it fails, so I just tried.
The word "bootleg" can probably make people confusing. I just wanna say through this term : a cheap way to make a collective souvenir, of course officially.
I hope no ones misunderstood my point of view.
Another thing : I don't ask it directly to M. Godfrey, because I think it must be viable a minima to make such request, and secondly, I prefer ask him with an old trusted frosty not to seems a joker or a pirate who want to sabotate the live.
Thanks for understanding me and replie. and sorry for lexical mistakes, I'm french and I do my best to write in the best english as possible.

PS to old frosties : If you think I'm rude or disrespectful, please tell me and I wil delete it. THX

Hello to the whole fellowship!
I start this topic to ask you something for what I've got thoughts for years. Do you want a dvd or a cd from the next december live show. I don't know if Frost* team has in mind this kind of idea, but I want to request it, because I love this band, and I was very frustrated when I knew that the DVD failed and will probably never be produced... So If it's the community's wish to see (one day) a live pressed on a DVD, I'm sure that some Jem's good friends can ask him personnaly what he thinks about this project.
Thank you for reading, and for supporting this project.
Best regards and may the force of biscuits be with us!

Quote from: "Sei"Yes I received a confirmation mail the same day, but it seems that my ticketweb's account disappeared or was deleted, coz' I can't log in... I send a mail to them, and I'm waiting for an answer, but how long?... If I couldn't get in, I'll be hidden in a flight-case, disguised in a Kronos or a bass drum
What happened to your dodgy french
Sorry but I don't understand what you mean...    Perhaps I have nothing precisely to understand?

Quote from: "johninblack"We can help and advise all day long but the only people that can actually do anything are ticketweb. Don't worry about "having an account" and all that, you have a booking reference that proves the purchase. Contact ticketweb with all the information you have and ask them to deal with it.

Tell them the date you ordered your tickets, the booking ref etc. and ask them the situation.

*Edit - If you do need to hire a jumbo jet make sure it's full of custard creams........

I already contacted them via the costume service from their website.  ;)
And about the dumbo jet, I hope I don't need it, but concerning custard creams, I can buy some before the live show but personally, I prefer without petroleum jelly!

@Magical-Mikey :
Thanks for the link, but I don't think that sending a mail to Scala will solve my prob, because it's about ticketweb. When I did my first booking, I have requested receiving my ticket in my mailbox (not the virtual one). Wanna be proud to expose it like my Holy Grail in my room (with band members' signs if I could). I just want a real one, not a stupid and ugly piece of A4 paper with a bar code...    So in a total moment of despair, I chose to buy a new one... I'm still thinkin' (and hopin') that your friend's ticket will find a good Cockney fella or someone who lives in UK, easier than sending it in France may I think. And you know what? I received a confirmailtion + my e-Arquette just few minutes after the last click on their website, as Trapezium_Artist said! (;¬_¬) But a thousand thanks again for your welcoming help, I really appreciate your worship!  :P

@johninblack :
Thank you too, but I read this maybe a hundred times... And How I'm supposed to proceed if I want to visit London several days before the gig ? Do I have to rent a jumbo-jet just because of their policy?  :|

I know that I might seem overacting, but one point troubles me : Why did my account disappear ? I can't understand coz' I really signed in, and this for 3 reasons : to book my bucket, to receive the confirmation mail which is still in my mailbox (the virtual one this time) and to have my (damn) Arquette!!!!!. That has no sense! It's totally ridiculous. And the "funniest" thing : it was withdrawn from my bank account!
:?*?o(?-??) "bang!"
No reply from them yet... But you can be sure that they will hear me bawlin' them out in their office if they consider me like a custard cream with a lot of petroleum jelly in it! Non mais, sacre bleu! Put down your racket or I'll hold the picket line! I'll be a fearless wicket-keeper, if they want to play cricket with Davy Crockett! "For if you will not let my people go [with their ticket], tomorrow I will send [crikets/locusts] into your land [in the name of Frost*]." (Ipod 10:4)

But anyway, I've got my casket and it's the most important for me!  ;)

@Johninblack : I received just one mail... the confirmation, but absolutely nothing about any (online/digital) ticket. I'm now waiting for their reply to my "WTFisGoinOn" mail. It's hard to me to wait calmly! AAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggggggggg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you anyway!

@Mikey: I hope that your friend's ticket will be still available in the last chance case! Thank you too. I see that you are always ready to post on !
