Read it and review please.  Just got finished writing it 10 minutes ago, so be nice. :)

By the way, I'm well aware it sounds slightly emo.  And some might misconstrue certain statements in that piece as critical of the song in question.  Let me be clear: this is not critical of any Frost* song in any way, shape or form.  Let's see how many of you can guess the song. ;)

Ask Frost* / Falling Down lyrics: Is it correct?
November 20, 2008, 04:36:47 AM
Life, it all became too much
It's easier to run
An early warning sign
Take arms and charge the line

Four reasons, I told you lies
Four reasons, why we won't touch eyes
Four reasons, unsatisfied
Four reasons, always there inside

I feel I'm falling down
I feel I'm falling down

There's nothing left here to say now
Falling down
Let's put our secrets away now
Falling down
Stop getting hope in the way now
Falling down
We'll lose it all any day now
Falling down
No meaning left in the sound now
Falling down
I'm giving back what I found now
Falling down
I'm heading back to the ground now
Falling down
Not getting up till I break down

Love, I cut a lonely soul
On shards of broken hearts
Outlines of those I lost
Take time and count the cost

Four reasons, I told you lies
Four reasons, why we won't touch eyes
Four reasons, unsatisfied
Four reasons, left me dead inside

I feel I'm falling down
I feel I'm falling down

Time will justify
Like birds must fall to fly

That sound about right?

Quote from: "gr8gonzo"Essentially an EP's worth of new stuff on the heels of EIMA's release?

You do spoil us, kind Sir.

QFT.

And I believe this appropriate for the circumstances (for Jem):

Frost* / Re: EIMA - Whats your favourite track ?

I honestly can't decide.  Falling Down, DDD, and Welcome to Nowhere I guess, because they're the newest ones for me.  But I really do love 'em all.

Ask Frost* / The song that was scrapped
November 17, 2008, 02:20:54 AM
So I remember reading at the Cube about the song from the Frost* Reports (I can feel the world is turning) was scrapped.  Is there any hope of hearing it in the future?  I really rather loved that song.

And now half the country's trying to kill the president.  We're certainly showing ourselves as the progressive nation... :?

Other Bands / Re: Embarrassing Musical secret
November 15, 2008, 06:30:32 PM
Right then:

1. Nothing wrong at all with liking goth rock, particularly Evanescence.  I've loved that band since I was but a boy.  I am personally disappointed with the second album, if only because the gothiness has been toned down considerably.  I highly recommend downloading their demo CD, Origin; some great moments on that one as well, that album ranks #3 in my iTunes library.

2. Yes, Forsaken should not only have been sung by Amy Lee, I think it should just have not been a Dream Theater song altogether; that song truly belongs to Evanescence.  What I really want is for Evanescence to record an acoustic cover it (hearing John Petrucci doing the acoustic guitar on that song is phenomenal).

3. Embarrassing music secret of me: I love Linkin Park.  Not Minutes to Midnight, granted, but everything that came before it.  Even more embarrassing: I have hope that the next album will not be as bad.

Ask Frost* / Questions for Jem (exactly two)
November 15, 2008, 06:24:42 PM
First things first: I love the new album.  New Frost* favorites in the form of Welcome to Nowhere, Falling Down, and Dear Dead Days.  All of them so well-written, so perfectly executed.

Now then, to the questions:

1. Do you do any vocals on this album?  I thought I heard you on Wonderland and possibly elsewhere, but I can't be sure.  Dec's vocals are brilliant by the way, bring a totally new element to the Frost* sound! :D

2. Does the secret song at the end of Wonderland have a name?

I can't think of a single new music trend I've liked that was American-born since 2001-2004.
