Friends Of Frost* / Re: Debut album from Hardwired

Thanks for the kind words, chaps.

Reception in other parts has been favourable too. So the guys are on cloud nine at the minute.

The work in progress has taken a bit of a stall in recent months, but there are two eps on the cards. Both follow a concept, the first a heavier sounding collection with ritual sacrifice as its theme! The second is a proggy, mushroom fueled tale about toast, hares, and marmalade.

The boys were simply stunning in Bilston this evening. It's nearly 5 years since I last saw Frost* and tonight was like a step back in time to happy gig-times.

Sorry I missed most of you, I only managed to catch up with Sawtooth.

I'll have a wingman in tow, so that makes three of us.

It'll be like a mini packet of Frosties. :-)

Ahmm.

Excuse the interruption. But I happen to have tickets to Bilston. Will any of the "old crowd" be in attendence?

Quietly slips away for another 5 years.........

Thank you guys.

I secretly hoped that I'd get to £500, but really didn't think i would. The reality is that £500 sponsors a horse or pony for 6 months. To the RDA that is massive.

I'm so pleased.  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Some photos from the New Years Day Swim.

Thanks to everyone who donated. It's the last day of the fundraiser and the total is standing at £485.  It would be a shame not to break the £500 barrier.  ;) ;) ;)

Thanks chaps.

The Gig Buddy is spiffing. The band has dis-banded, but he and the guitarist have been busy writing and recording. The best stuff they've every done IMO. They've gone full digital, Fractal guitar sounds, WOW!!!!!!!, and taking things in a new direction.

The DVD is sat waiting to be played. Very few gigs lined up, really must go to more, but work patterns are so restrictive it's hard to make a lot of them.

Very sorry to hear of Christina's illness. We saw them at the village hall show back in the summer before The 27 Club was released. Was hoping to make it to Trinity next year, but in to minds now.

Not been around for a while, lots of reasons, some valid and some personal. That's all I'm going to say on the matter.

So, now on with the business at hand.

New Years Day 2014, I'll be taking part in the Saundersfoot New Year's Day Swim to raise money for Herefordshire RDA (Riding for the Disabled) Equine Therapy Centre. There is a bit of back ground in the MyDonate link below about my son, the RDA and how they have helped him.

If you feel you can support in some way please follow the link and have a read. If possible please include the Gift Aid. It makes a huge difference.
