Urgh.

What is it with Frost* and rubbish venues?

Does that mean you intend to personally inspect every future proposed Frost* venue to ensure suitability, at your own expense of course.

What's that? No?        Thought not........... >:(

Well for me it was a very, very emotional experience. Last year on July 29th I had an upper body and head /neck CT scan and on July 31st I had the Biopsy on the lump in my throat. I had been told on the Monday of that week (27th) to "prepare myself for some bad news", so at that point all I knew was that all the experts thought I had cancer but until we got the results of the scan and Biopsy no one knew if I'd still be alive in a year's time. Thankfully all has worked out well but I must admit to having tears in my eyes on several occasions, mind you anyone looking would probably just thought I had sweat in my eyes! Yes, it was roasting hot in there but for me I really couldn't care less and I actually quite liked the venue, it's just not quite big enough for Frost*. Many similarities to the Peel really.

Really good to finally meet Lyn and utterly fabulous to catch up with James and Karin, Brom, Dewy and Jem. Managed a quick hello to Bert, VitP and crew, Blunders and Nathan, sorry I couldn't stay longer but I was totally buggered and in need of a little lay down.

We bumped into Nellie in Cambridge that afternoon and had already been told that it could be a tad cosy. Nellie, spot on and thanks for the biccies!

Catherine, how did we miss each other? Didn't even see you. :(

Talking of Cambridge - who else is coming? I'm tempted to wear a Hawaiian shirt after seeing the Rambling man pics  8)

Yup, me and Sue will be there. Anyone know what wheel chair access is like there?

That clunk sounds exactly like the noise you get in a council block when someone chucks something heavy down the rubbish chute into the big metal bin (usually in the middle of the night). So much so that the first couple of time I heard Towerblock I didn't realise it was on the CD...

Welcome to the forum. Really only one question to be asked - You favourite biscuit is?

There doesn't appear to be a "Newbies introduction" thread,

Welcome, you're quite right but all we really need to know is what is your biscuit of choice? You can always tell us about yourself by starting a thread in "Any other business".

I think it might have been one of the interviews on the Rockfields DVD where Jem said they all regard Nathan as the true musician of the band, high praise indeed!

Can there be anything better?

Enjoy.  ;)

I am a member of that page, but it's been that long since I signed in that I can't remember my details. But I don't feel a great erge to go back there. :)

It has a reputation for being home to a few of the persons that my signature was aimed at. I very rarely go there myself and am told "it's better than it used to be"

Oh wow, I didn't even realize it was previously released.

Does anybody have any info on why 'Fathers' didn't make it on the album?

I'm pretty sure Jem said that it just didn't fit with the other tracks and that it would likely turn up later on an EP along with some other tunes.
