Quote from: "EVP"Anyone hear of October Project? They only put out two major label albums but they
are quite good.

great band!! no need for embarrassment there!  very proggy, I think.

how about The Sherbs?

Yeah I thought OP didn't fit in as an 'embarrassment' but they are well worth mentioning :)
Too bad they seem to be inactive at this point in time. I heard a clip of them on XM on
my way home the other night and it was the 'new' lineup without Mary Fahl.

It's also worth mentioning I have a copy of "November Project" the next incarnation right
after Sony dumped them. Different lineup with Emil and Julie as the core writers. They also
had Mike Visceglia playing bass, who btw is a great bassist and also played with Suzanne Vega.
It's too bad because as November Project, they really had something good going again.

Frost* / FROST* brand Biscuits?
November 16, 2008, 05:00:47 PM
Hmm maybe you could start your own production of FROST* biscuits Jem?

We could all help out. it would be kinda like having the Keebler elf's around.
Surely there could be an endorsement to be had?

Hell's teeth! Weapons of Mass Dunking....ready to go in a little over 55 minutes!

I can hear them coming from across the Atlantic as I type.

ETA for upstate NY is approximately 2 days,17 hours,54 minutes,and 1.555 seconds.

I like Gordon Lightfoot and actually his mid-late 1960's stuff has some darker moments.
One of the great original folk singer/songwriters IMHO. I love Split Enz and the Fixx.
Anyone hear of October Project? They only put out two major label albums but they
are quite good.  I really dig Fleetwood Mac as well.

Just got my copy today and I have to say this is really quite good. Everything sounds fantastic!
They didn't mess around too much and a lot of stuff has been brought forward that you
couldn't hear before.

I only wish I waited and ordered the SACD/NTSC version. I'm going to wait a while
and find all 3 boxes in either format so I can have SACD versions.

Any Other Business / Re: Tea
November 13, 2008, 12:16:04 PM
I was a junkie brewing up to 5-6 bags in a pyrex dish and drinking it all in a day
(or a few hours) and went a little overboard one time. Needless to say after a trip
to the doctor I'm now a decaf man.

I'm good with Red Rose,Lipton Green tea,Celestial Seasonings Sleepy Time, and fruit tea
sampler(the Black Cherry Berry is the BEST)Stuff with Chamomile gets me through
the rough days at work and those rough drives in the winter.

My cousin recently found some decaf white tea for me which is excellent . I've always been
a big tea drinker and I honestly believe it contributes to my overall good cholesterol blood profile  ;)

Quote from: "J Jonah Jameson"It takes more than money to win TLD's favours.  We're sending out some today, generally to those further afield, but how many very much depends upon further supplies from the record company.  So tomorrow looks to be somewhat hectic.

Boxes and envelopes all over the place...

JJJ

Does this include orders placed within the last 5 days from the CRS shop?
either way, I'm cool with that.

November 11, 2008, 03:02:05 AM
I'm hoping mine will make it across the pond in time as well. I ordered a beanie
which I'll probably be needing by the time it gets here! I'm sure I'll be working
that day and I'll have to wait until I get home.
