Loving both songs here!!

Like the artwork on the digital booklet too. There seems to be an overall darker feel.
A tad bit more keyboards back in the mix now too!

I started on PT with windoze XP but it's been years and I've been both a Mac and Spectrasonics guy
for like 4 years now. I wish I could help.  :(

Fantastic news! So is Mr. Craig only a live replacement or full time? not that it matters.
It should be good times ahead all around either way!

Somehow I Missed the updates on the blog as well.

LMAO!!!

http://www.synthtopia.com/content/2010/ ... -to-swing/

Audio quantizing just went to a whole new level. It does start to fall apart after the solo/spoken word part.

Awesome to you sir on the upgrade. I'm really liking Pro Tools 8.03.
For me it's been the most stable since 7.3.1. My 2006 Macbook's fan kicks on
about 80% of the time when I'm using it though. I'm looking at a new Mac by summer
myself and my wallet is getting itchy after being paid yesterday.

To have a Pro Tools 8 HD rig running on a new 8 core Mac Pro loaded with plenty RAM
that setup is gonna RULE! You'll have oddles and oddles of both Native and TDM Power there :D
I think you'll like PT 8.03. The new GUI takes a bit of getting used to but I really like it now.
You're gonna have fun with elastic pitch too.

Quote from: "EVP"I already now have plugins of a CP-70,Mellotron,Taurus,and organs. now we have a Pro soloist!
How about an Arp Quadra now!?! The 2600 is out there as well.

What Mellotron plug are you using? I have the M-Tron, but I think they brought a newer version out not long after I bought mine. Wondering how it stacks up. The M-Tron is great but it doesn't have the Hungover Male Chorus patch, or the wine glasses.

YES!!!  :D
I have the original Mtron and it's add on discs. It was way back when i was on PC and there was no cross grade
to intel mac when M Audio took over distribution. When I got my Macbook I purchased Auto Sampler and
sampled every note of every tape bank off of my PC and all recorded on my Mac. I now have them all as
patches on the EXS sampler in Logic Pro.

I've been eyeing the official Mellotron sample cd and Mtron Pro but I'm in no hurry to grab either one at the moment.

Me WANT!!!

I always thought it'd be fun to download a few Genesis midi files and drive some softsynths.
I could play bass/guitar with my Taurus pedals along with them. I'm sure the midi files
out there probably have some duff notes in them, but still fun.

Quote from: "Mouse"You lucky, lucky bugger.  8-)

Yeah I was gonna wait until payday to get tickets but I went online to see how much
the rape fee's were gonna be from Ticketbastard. I tried searching for every possible
combination in even numbers and every time it said none were available! DOH!
I got scared and went back and chose any seat, any price and managed to find 6
and found I could afford it, so I just ran with it!

Luckily I have people more than willing to take one of the 5 tickets each so there's
no problem getting the cash back. I figure hell, if I end up with a couple empty seats
then I can have enough space to play air drums, air bass or air guitar. :D

I've actually been wanting to do something similar and even considered using my cousin's scanner
and record stuff off police/rescue/weather bands.
