The response to Shineback has been overwhelmingly positive. I'm so glad that everyone's enjoying it so much!

And I prefer the"I have good days" ending

I Have Good Days... is one of my favourite Shineback tunes, but I prefer the Myowndreamland ending in relation to the story. Thanks to the wonders of digital music, you can always swap in the ending you fancy.

Just giving Snowman a spin. My, but this really is brilliant.

And the Frost*Bites Intro, which I never actually got to hear properly at the show. 

If you were at Celebr8, you might have heard Part 1 of the album over the PA directly after Frost*.    And if you saw Simon's acoustic set, then you got a stripped-down rendition of Faultlines. Fogeyspasm filmed the whole thing for absent friends, so expect that to appear at some point over the next day or so.

Crikey, what a shot, TA! Excellent!

I was sat up in the heavens with t'other Godfrey for Frost*. It would be nice to say it was because I am worthy of special VIP treatment, but actually I was exhausted and it was a good chance to have a sit down and recover.    It was a bloody good set, though, and I got to see exactly what Jem was doing with his 'board from my bird's eye perspective. My, he is a clever fellow indeed. I thought Falling Down was strong in particular and it was great to see the Gabrielised Snowman again.

When I saw John Wesley with Sound of Contact the other day, I was almost going to ask him if he remembered signing an inflatable banana for you, AJ, but didn't for fear of it being one embarrassing conversation if he didn't! However, LFE told me Mouse had exactly that conversation with him and he did!

Using words like "Chorus" and "Verse" in a Frost piece are rather like using pedestrians as landmarks while giving directions.

Fun fact - a cheese grater on a string being swung round and around is how they created the sound of the movements of those dragon things the Ring Wraiths rode in Lord Of The Rings. I think.
