That's one gig I really hope to get to (he says, tempting fate).

We could all just camp out in Kings Cross station and have a busking session, or something.  ;)

Quote from: "Drarok"What's that gizmo down by the bridge of the guitar?

Quote from: "Pedro"Roland pick-up,  independent string feeds to his VG99 rig.

Pedro's got it bang on. Tinyfish don't use keyboards live (or anything else now, for that matter), so synth sounds come via guitar. As of this year, Simon's entire rig went digital - the only 'real' aspects of the guitar are the body and the strings. No backline, either - signal went straight into the PA and out through the monitors (exactly wot Rush do innit).

I always thought that combining rhythm guitar and synth parts into one was a brilliant idea. Don't tell him I said that, though. Erm... he's a right nobber, that Godfrey.  ;)

Quote from: "Trapezium Artist"In honour of the ongoing event, however, I offer a picture of the fearless Twang seeking organisational inspiration halfway down a pint glass at the Tinyfish / DeeExpus gig at The Peel earlier this year:

That man is the best man in the world. A prog superhero.  8-)

TA, I don't suppose you've uploaded other photos from that gig to somewhere, have you? I'd love to see them.  :)

Quote from: "gr8gonzo"Does anyone know if Jem was in attendance?

No sign of Jem, but Rob Reed out of Magenta actually mistook Uncle Bulgaria from t' Fishtank for Jem. I wish I'd have witnessed that first hand - it comes after he became known as 'the long lost Godfrey brother'.

Andy Tillison thought LivingForever was in Tinyfish.

Much hilarity was had.  :D

Best. Weekend. Ever. I can't remember ever being happier.

Ooh, sorry... Nah, it was naff. Everything went wrong. We sold no merch. I didn't meet Steven Wilson. Tinyfish didn't end. (Actually, that last one's true...)

 ;)

Nellie was only allocated 100 of them to sell at Celebr8. We sold about half of them on the Saturday and another good load on Sunday, so it's not surprising that they sold out so quickly on TMD. Don't panic, everyone - The Scala can hold a LOT of people (I heard 1,200 from someone, don't kow if this is totally accurate), so there should be enough to go round...  :)

I got No. 003!  :D  :D

There are a few offers of a place to stay over on the Fishtank. Now, the final problem - can anyone give him a lift there and back?
