I think Rick Wakeman passed comment on his PlanetRock Radio show about the Yes 'tribute band' tour.

Kind of wanted to go but without JA (and RW) it's not the same, especially at the prices they were charging.

QuoteWe just need to get Xmas out of the way and we're good to go

My exact thoughts every year. Curse of being a Xmas baby  ;)

Anyway...artwork. Will the marvellous and gargatuan talents of Sir Vitamin of P be involved?

Mark - to my shame I wasn't aware of your work...until now!

Loved the extract from the new book, it seemed to voice a lot of the feelings I have but obviously in a much more eloquent way.

I had no idea of Word Soup at the Continental, although I have been there and love the pub, but will try an make it up there.

Best of luck with the book and hope to say Hi at some point in the future...

Quote from: "catherine"I'm surprised they were selling ladies' t-shirts at all, given the wording of the poster!

I do feel a bit self-conscious sporting the writing on the back

I don't think Mrs M has noticed yet...I will point it out next time she wears it ... ;)

Yeah they were very annoying...ignorant b*******s.

Btw that very small lady was probably Mrs M as she always gets to the front...and because of said smallness doesn't obstruct the view..unlike me. Which is why we hardly ever stand together at gigs...which is probably to her liking  :?  ;)

Excellent photos! I've got a few bits of dodgy wobbly vid from the Rainbow but not sure it's up to posting really

Must add my thanks for a wonderful gig in Brum...one of the best nights entertainment ever. And the gig was alright too...  ;)

It was simply wonderful and I hope that there are more sometime in the future...

The more I browse this the more I feel it is a Blog of genius.

I love the Mission statement:

We are looking for your personal biscuit experiences: the story behind the crunchy topping.

Perhaps a long forgotten favourite.
A regular without which you would feel bereft.
A luxury for special days.
A bit of biscuity history.
Or something that sets your teeth on edge.

Contributions will be by invitation. If you would like to be considered for inclusion then please email the Commissar on dockyveg@gmail.com

Hopefully there will be a Daily Post (except Sundays when the Governing Plenum will be in their Dachas).

Once you have chipped in then you may also invite contributions from far and wide. It is like a cross between a chain letter and a rather seedy members-only club.
