Managed to get to Edinburgh...shame it was 3 days too late for the gig though. This will be the first tour I've missed and not happy at all  >:(
Pleased everyone had a spiffng time though - a pity about the audience numbers in Edinburgh but I bet you lot made up for it in sheer enthusiasm!

Good luck Mikey! Here's hoping your new venture is a raring success (because you are, in fact, a lion)! :)

Gigs / Red Bazar / Dec Burke / Tiger Moth Tales gigging Feb 2017!
« on: October 06, 2016, 05:06:45 PM »
Well what a turn up.
After being a huge fan of Frost* since hearing the very first teaser of Black Light Machine before Milliontown was even released, who would have thought I would be playing on the same bill as one of the guys I used to stand in awe of when he was on the stage as a big part of EIMA era Frost* ? And with three stunning solo albums under his sleeve, I could be talking of none other than Sir Declan of Burkeshire!

Yes indeed, on the 26th Feb 2017, Red Bazar, Dec and Tiger Moth Tales will be playing at the Boston Music Rooms in that there Laaaaaaaandon!
All organised by that cheeky rapscallion Jon Twang Patrick.

Well that went well!
I've always had a pipe dream about being in a band wot played at Summers End. Now due to the herculean efforts and amazing talent of Peter Jones, that is a reality - so many thanks mate!
Stunning reaction from a packed audience, couldn't have wished for more :-)

Btw Mikey the old track was The Meet, from the last instrumental album Connections.

Thanks so much to Mr & Mrs Pedro, Mikey and any other Frost*ies - who I either didn't recognise or get chance to say hello to - for turning up. With it being a midweek gig it had all the hallmarks of a poor turnout, but the audience did us proud. It wouldn't have been the same without ya!  :D

Gigs / Re: Frost gigs June 2016!!!

We were bang in front of Nathan at Wath and the joy was preceded by some serious gurning which made the smile even better
Watching the challenge of bass lines to songs like Hyperventilate and Heartstrings close up, I think the odd bit of gurning was quite understandable.  :o

Also pretty special to see Nathan doing all the synth bass bits throughout on 'Raging' too on his little keyboard - including all the widdly pitch bend bits. I never realised he was such an accomplished keys player.

If I was more talented
If I could play better,
If I had the imagination,
If I had less distractions
If I was more driven
If I had better gear
If I didn't have a day job
If I didn't have to make stupid excuses...

....I'd write music just like Falling Satellites  ;D

Absolutely LOVE it.
