I couldn't agree more. I'm just listening to it again. I could listen to this song for hours.

Ask Frost* / Re: The Dividing Line - Live
December 08, 2010, 02:37:02 AM
Honestly this was one of the most terrifying things I've seen played live. you listen to the track and simply think there's NO WAY that can be done live, and not only that, done justice to.

But bugger me backwards with a rich tea biscuit was it not simply phenomenal. How the hell that much sound came from 4 seemingly 'normal' people is incredible. And seriously, the riff that kicks in where on the track the woman is talking was HUUUUUGE and one of my favourite parts of the gig. Not only is it a massive riff, but very clearly quite tricky to play on, well, all of the instruments (yeah, like the rest of it was a walk in the park!) Those who didn't get to see it, buy the DVD, for this song alone you won't be disappointed!!

Again, I take my hat of to you, Men of Frost*

I have to add to this, you were truly terrifying on those drums and I loved every second of it. You make a perfect addition to the Frost* world and long may it continue! I loved how there was clearly a huge camaraderie onstage between you guys, it was such a pleasure to see and given how awesome the music was as well (seriously though, technically amazing), it made for an immensely fulfilling gig to watch, regardless of the pain in the balls it took to get there!!

Bravo!!!

Can I just say despite the sound (and being lucky enough to be wearing ear plugs) I thought Frost* were awesome! yes the sound was against them but boy did they do a brilliant job. Everyone was note perfect (harmonies were spot on!!) Bugger me was DDD a highlight!!

Also wanted to say thanks to Jem and John for sticking around to talk to muppets like me!
I was all a bit starstruck :S

Really made my year as I'm off on cruise based adventures doing music in a few short days and was worried I might miss the gig.... :)

Apologies for the tallness Jem  :o

hey all,

i know it's VERY last minute but for reasons I will never be able to understand or get my head round, one of my friends has pulled out of tonight's gig...

Suffice to say, it's only fair someone has it!

If you're interested, let me know by calling the number below.
I of course will be there tonight so whoever wants it can meet me on the door and we'll sort the money out then. I'm not after profit, just the straight retail price we paid, call it 35 quid...

I don't really want to ebay it and I'd rather one of you guys had it...

Cheers
Tony

Forgot to mention, this is for a STANDING ticket...I will of course be down the front as well ;)

If you look online (youtube, the usual places) there is a trailer floating about that someone managed to film at comic-con i think it's called. It's a bit shonky and not an official trailer but you still get the jist (gist?)

Looks absolutely bloody awesome. I love the original and was incredibly skeptical until I saw the trailer....Damn those light bikes are one of the coolest things ever thought up !! :)

Oh and the main two characters are still in there too :)

Quote from: "Philadelphia"Wow! Congratulations, that's one cool job opportunity! I hope you have a great time with it  - and get proper internet on the ship so you can keep us informed of how things are going. (;-)

Don't worry it'll take more than a large expanse of water to keep me out of the Frost*iverse  ;)

Quote from: "Trapezium Artist"Two standing purchased for Southampton. Although I've no idea if I can actually make it yet, I have no desire to be left in the lurch by procrastination as I nearly was for the Peel (thanks again, Twang  :D )

I'm embarrassed to admit that I bought mine via TicketBastard simply because I couldn't be bothered to work out the O2 mobile thingy, but I'll live, I suppose.

One question I have for people who know the Guildhall (CL?): my tickets are for the standing area, although I realise that there may be stalls. Row number is GA1 and the tickets 85-86; however, I suspect that means General Access and the 85th and 86th tickets sold, since there are no seats 85-86 in the seating plan. True? Will it be a general rush to the front and otherwise stand wherever you like ... ?

If true, then I also suspect that Frosties* have bought more than half the tickets sold thus far ... long may it continue  :D

Yeah, you pretty much got it, a general rush for the front!  :)

I expect it to look a bit like the end of Pedder's Toys vid, with all the Frost*ies lined up!  :)

Yup, in terms of standing it's just an expanse for all us obsessed Frosties* to get right involved in :) It's a pretty good venue actually! There's a lovely little pub across the road as well we could all go to afterwards that's open late :)
