Dec mentioned this band in his interview with Wilf and the 3 tracks that Wilf then played were good, so I've had a listen to the first 2 albums on Spotify and bought the downloads (HMV for £3.99 each).

Good stuff - some real earworms.

BUT impossible to find the third album "Grateful".  If anyone can point me in the direction of a value download, then I'd be "grateful".

They've now signed to Sony, so it could be downhill from here, although the last 2 singles "Just Human and "Lost" suggest otherwise.

Thank you Dec.....

I've rarely enjoyed a band so much the first time around as I did with Carpark North.  Grateful is by far my favourite album.  Everyone I've showed it to has thought so, too.  Unfortunately I had to obtain Grateful through secondary channels because I couldn't get it on iTunes.  As soon as I can get it I'll definitely buy it though.  Stunning band.

"secondary channels" - love it. :)

Bump!

I've just put on the 'new' album, which disappointingly is not new at all, it's made up of songs from the previous three albums. The reasoning for this being that they've just signed to Sony and that it's intended to be their 'international debut'. So Sony are effectively brushing the first three (excellent) albums under the carpet. Anyway, it's a good album nonetheless, I just wish it was more than a compilation!  :?

Hum - really disappointing.

I reckoned that most of the "New" album was actually from Grateful, which explains why that one disappeared from the horizon
