Hello

Music for DXing, the latest album from Spunkle is now out on First Fold Records.

It's pretty...low bandwidth!

But I do hope people like it.

Gah! This must have fallen into my "must remember to listen to this when I get the chance" colander and then been completely forgotten. So sorry...

Yeah, just had a listen to a few tracks. Not really a style I'd go looking for (wasn't sure if my sound system was broken to start with!), but it's well put together and certainly not predictable. The interview is an interesting read too.

I also read the review which said "I'm not sure what Dxing is exactly, but Spunkle is clearly skilled enough to compose the perfect accompaniment to it.". Gotta be happy with that kind of comment. :)

Thanks for your kind words and analysis Pedro!

Yeah, I know some of that sort of stuff that I have done is very very "niche" indeed, so I appreciate everyone who gives it a go whether they like it or not!  My Facebook page now has a staggering 29 fans (of which 20 are my own, personal, let's-humour-the-old-boy-type friends) and and the stats on Last.FM are usually quite "binary" (i.e. 0 or 1 listens   ), but, you know, one keeps chugging along.  I can at least take comfort that if what I created was a very expensive luxury car, I wouldn't think the small numbers were anything to be worried about :)

DXing, should anyone be curious, is tuning into distant broadcast signals on the radio or TV.  That's why a lot of my YouTube videos are of me listening to stations from far away countries.

Is there a way of marking threads as unread? Haven't noticed anything anywhere......except the great big one that says mark as unread

Not that I know of...but I know a hippo who will know more.
When he returns from his holliers. :)
