The Cosmic Lawnmower

Not actually been brave enough to post anything up here as yet, but what the hell, here's some of what I get up to with my little set-up when I'm not lawnmowing the cosmos!!

The WAV version sounds better, the MP3  has introduced a bit more compression than I like.

Surprised no-one has commented on your post yet, Cosmic, old chap; I'm doing so now to raise it back up to the top of the active posts page.

I've listened to a couple of tracks: impressive stuff for a one-man band knocking it together in a garage.

how did I miss this?  great stuff Mr. Lawnmower Man!!  thanks for sharing!

Sorry Cosmic, you have been another victim of the "can't listen right now and then forget" syndrome! :)

Just quickly dipping into a track or two right now. I'm liking what I've heard so far.
To be picky here's one of two tuning anomalies in the BV in places and the lyrics as written have a typo or two but there seems to be a wealth of fully-formed songs in there that would really only need an extra take or two here and there to make them sellable (IMHO).
Thanks for sharing, I really like your voice - it would also be cool to get you on the Collab song (if/when we get viable lyrics/melody together) or maybe one of Ron's numbers?

If this were officially released for a fiver I'd buy it.

Not saying your work is only worth a fiver to me but I have no income and currently reside in the cd-less demographic and a fiver is all I gots (all my cds cost a fiver or less, even EIMA)

Thanks for the kind words guys, it's encouraging.

I'm not exactly a techno-whizz, but learning all the time, particularly production wise... my earlier stuff (particularly from the Fostex days) was really not very hot production wise, but as I say I'm working stuff out and hopefully improving with each new track.

I'd be happy to do some singy stuff on the collaborative effort at some stage, if anyone thinks I'd be suitable.

Thanks again.
