Well, it's taken us a while to get stuff sorted out, but at last we have some video's up from our recording session earlier this year, which now forms 'The Sky Explodes EP'

It's not prog by any stretch of the imagination, but it was Frost* inspired, as you can see by my attire during the recording 8-)

Definitely hear Squeeze and XTC as an influence. Sounds really good

The Rainbow cover came about as a result of a facebook poll to pick a cover for the EP launch gig. My suggestion of Lily Allen's "The Fear" was narrowly beaten into second place by "Since You've Been Gone" but in the end I'm glad as I think it turned out quite well. We might be recording it soon

ES - "SIlver Lining" & "Hearts & MInds" are studio tracks from our latest EP, we filmed nearly everything for the whole session and our guitarist has pieced the videos together from that footage. The majority of the other tracks are live from the EP launch gig.

JiB - Cheers, don't think anyone has compared us to Squeeze and XTC before, but they're faves of mine so it's nice to have that pointed out.

To quibble: The syncing in the Silver Lining video could be way better and a tuner at the live gig would have helped.
Hearts & Minds seems to work best (for me) cos the video is obviously not meant to line up.
