So far so good but SPV, whom I think is also a major shareholder in InsideOut, is in deep trouble. FYI, insolvency isn't exactly the same thing as going bankrupt but it is getting pretty close.  :(  :(

Tough times indeed...they'll have to come up with a heck of a good 'restructuring plan' to stay afloat....which may mean dropping some acts and widening their scope.

Can you take voluntary redundancy?

What happens if they transfer the Frost* work to a bunch of Turks and/or Czech Republicans? Where would we be then?

Oh dear, they do our EU distribution also..... it took ProgRock Records years to hook up with them.  :?

Maybe I am reading to much in this but can I conclude from this remarkt that Frost has / had a multi-album deal?

I had a discussion today with a friend of mine and we sorta explored the following scenario:

SPV makes money with distribution but handling the lablels apparently does cost money. From what I have read in the past they are a majority shareholder in InsideOut. In order to restructure things SPV sells its share to Snapper Music whom already run the quite excellent modern prog label K-Scope (a.o. no-man, Anekdoten). This might also mean that the acts that are now on the Superball Music label (a new label set up by Thomas Waber of InsideOut for more modern progbands like Pure Reason Revolution and Oceansize) then can be transferred to the K-Scope label with InsideOut retaining the more traditional prog acts.

But this is just a simple train of thought we had, but I think a feasible one.

I think it was originally a deal for two with the option of a third but I don't really know.
