I love that album. I think "Flicks" is my fav.

Just admit you want to be able to check your e-mail while on stage!
Besides, looking at all the iPhone apps I wonder if one can do an entire gig with this thing.  8-)

Jem

Me and the Nozza did actually debate if it would be possible. We concluded that it would and that we wouldn't rule it out. It would actually be rather bleedin' cool.  :D

I've been keeping half an eye on that option too... apparently the new iphone3 SDK allows for more direct access via the dock connector (although I have no idea to what extent) so I have my fingers crossed for someone to figure out how to plug a MIDI controller in.

As soon as you start doing that, I think you'll attract more Apple geeks, than music lovers. It's new and experimental and stuff, but also: it's lame.

Just like people on YouTube who think they're clever because they're making "songs" by shooting bottles of Diet Coke in the air. "Where's my internet money?!"

I'm sorry if I don't make sense, I'm kinda drunk, and shouldn't be talking. Just felt the need to vent somewhere.

Mouse

You'll be wanting this thread then, Pajter!

I was thinking about that, but I felt rebellious so instead I posted here.

Quote from: "eponymous"I think it's pretty cool that JR actually used the Bebot iPhone app for part of his solo on "A Rite of Passage".

Is that the bit near the end where it goes all bleepy, jittery and cool? That's nice usage! I did think that bit sounded quite Godfrey-ish when I listened to it again the other day.  8-)

Pajter

Okay that app is really cool! Downloaded it right away. :D

Mouse

That's amazing. I want an iPhone now!

Then I've just got to find the guts to jump to PT 8....

i wouldn't do it any time soon! It's been so unstable for me personally... I think the next cs update might cure a lot though. Its really like russian roulette if it will work. Had it working fine on Vista, after a reformat same hardware same everything it would not start. Same with windows 7, sometimes it works but this time around it crashes on start up a lot. Using Reaper for simple things like guitar lessons and its so much quicker

Jem

Well these last few days I've been convincing Madame Ableton to lift up her skirts of knowledge, currently I think she's just about ready to show me her knees and I'm liking what I'm seeing frankly.

It's cool to have an alternative to ProTools for some apps.  8-)

Hope you don't discover anything that's pants.
