The new album, The Incident, is now available for pre-order from play.com.  :D

It's not at Burning Shed yet as apparently they want all the early sales to count towards its chart position.

I've ordered mine already, and apparently there's a free MP3 download for pre-orderers as well - but mine doesn't work. (There was an error with your code. Please try again. :( ) Anyone else had this?

You can hear a sample of the album on their MySpace page and there's a video of Steven Wilson talking about Time Flies (part of The Incident song cycle) on their part of the Roadrunner site. It all sounds very good. TF to me sounds like Dogs by Pink Floyd.

Sorry for the lack of links. I'm very lazy today.  :)

The pre-order of the deluxe edition is now available here:

I'll be sticking to the £8.95 version available from play.com

Your link got cut off, but I figured it out, so here's the directly clickable link:

I'm liking Time Flies very much. If this is their "pop" song from this album, I can't wait to hear the heavy stuff.

LivingForever

Yup, Time Flies seems very good.

£60 for the deluxe edition... hmmm. That is basically just for the book, as long as the surround mix gets released separately at some point.

£60 does seem a bit steep, but I do love my box sets unashamedly.  :)  I wonder how limit it is. The Blank Planet ltd. ed. sold out and vanished before it was even released. If I wait until I have enough to pay for it, which would be around late September/early October and it disappears, I'll be pretty upset.  :(

Wow. I mean...

WOW !!!!!!!!

I confidently predict album of the year

I obviously need to listen a bit more but on first listen the track on the cover disc of the latest issue of Classic Rock Presents PROG, a radio edit of Time Files, left me slightly underwhelmed.
Alongside Pendragon's Indigo and a new track from Darwin's Radio, I was left waiting for Time Flies to actually (ahem) take off.
I'll confess I am not a PT follower, Coma Divine is the only CD I have and I liked that. Perhaps the full track is more exciting?
I open to suggestions as to which album to listen to in order to catch the bug.

In Absentia is essentia.

I rather like Deadwing, too.

Indeed! And The Sky Movese Sideways too, imho! :)
You talk
You think you own me
You miss the point completely
These things I do they\'re not for you
I\'m sick and I\'m tired
Leave me alone...
