I've heard talk of four drummers on stage at once....do the laws of physics allow for this?
Note: Racing Hippo's charity bash doesn't count because they weren't on the stage!

There were certainly 4 drummers on stage at Wembley, and with the size of Portnoy's kit, there's was probably room for another 17 or so...

Missed Unexpect, but their drummer was good!

Bigelf were very good, I like this band a lot! Opeth were stunning, utterly on the money as they should be after more than a year on the road and although me and DT kind of parted ways after Six Degrees, they were very enjoyable and I'll definitely be giving the new album a spin very soon.

Disappointing crowd though, curtainained off and quite a bit of room in the standing area too.

p.s. saw a certain Mr Burke there with some Darwin's Radio chums if I'm not mistaken.

The setlist looks very similar to what they played in Leeds, but the addition of the new tracks would've made it near perfect for me. The Erotomania/Voices/Solitary Shell medley thingie was my favourite section, so good to see that staying in place. The Count Of Tuscany must've been awesome live!

Didnt get 4 drummers in Glasgow :(

TCoT was superb live

The rumour goes that MP invited each other drummer onto the stage one by one and then all at once....and there is this video evidence to support it.

The London show was also home to another happening : Akerfeldt filling in for the infamous growl part in A Nightmare To Remember ;)

And as I was reading through this topic, I thought to myself : okay, next tour will probably take place two years from now... It probably won't be a ProgNation one... Maybe Frost* will join DT on the European Tour for more opening slots then ! Two years seems a reasonable time to work on a certain double album containing mucho prog goodness that would make dear mister Portnoy go Frost*-happy once again...

By the way, here are the songs he chose to have played during pre-shows...

QuoteMy PN09 House music CD is:

1. Beardfish - Awaken The Sleeping
2. Pain Of Salvation - Ashes
3. Frost* - Dear Dead Days
4. Crippled Black Phoenix - Rise Up And Fight
5. Endochine - Can't Find A Way
6. Neal Morse (& MP) - Starless
7. Sleepytime Gorilla Museum - Widening Eye
8. Heart Of Cygnus - Under Hill
9. Riverside - Hyperactive
10. Umphrey's McGee - Spires
11. Astra - Beyond To Slight The Maze

Happy Hunting!
