Well done catherine, here's to the next thousand. :D

Completely brilliant post, Catherine!
If I were wearing a hat, I'd take it off to you.
In fact, I might just go and put one on specially.

Heh, RacingHippo's post count is currently 666.

Luckily, thanks to Qi, we all now know that it is in fact 616 that is the Number of the Beast. Makes me smile every time I look at that Iron Maiden album now!  :)

I think the IB forum might like this idea.  Appreciate some help Frosties.  Discount brand grated, up to the magnificent Davidstow cheese & pineapple stick!  What do you reckon?

Well, I was trying to think of something vaguely risqué to say here in response to Catherine's 1000th post, if only to get a Twisted Evil smiley response and justify Mouse's eternally flattering signature  :D

But, y'know what, I'm so completely flummoxed, banjaxed, and discombulated by her post, that I have no choice but to simply say:

Congratulations, old girl!

catherine

Hey, not so much of the "old" if you don't mind, Grandpa!  ;)

Oh, hook, line, and sinker in less than five minutes: result!!!

But where's my Twisted Evil smiley, eh ? :D

(As for grandpa, actually, if you'd sent that to me about fifteen years ago, you'd have been right: as it is these days, I'm just a plain dad. But rest assured no-one died in the making of this peculiar conundrum  ;) )

catherine

I don't think I've ever done a Twisted Evil smiley - I'm just fundamentally too nice a person. I was also so sorry to hear that you'd been discombulated, which sounds a very distressing experience. (Does it involve having your comb pinched out of your Man-bag?)

Regarding your conundrum: the only way I can think that it might work, without death being involved, is if you were previously married to a grandma.

drblowthingsup

maybe his own grandma...
meaning that he is...
hmm
isnt this a frost* song?
lol

Hmmm, you're right: p'raps Twisted Evil is more Nellie's style. Where is that old girl anyway ... ?  :)

As for my conundrum, nope, not that hard to solve after all: you're quite correct (although she was not, as proposed by drblowthingsup, my own grandma   ). Even so, very odd having sons your own age, it is (or was, more correctly). Frost* material through and through ...

Well said! And a hearty congrats from me for the 1k Catherine. I could see a little while ago that the event was near.... and I missed it. I hope I'm forgiven?
