I recognized him from his laugh! LOL
You talk
You think you own me
You miss the point completely
These things I do they\'re not for you
I\'m sick and I\'m tired
Leave me alone...

Although we didn't arrive by chopper in those days, it reminds me of the couple of occasions in the early 1970s when I went to the British Grand Prix with my dad at Brands Hatch: he was a senior manager for Rothman's (regrettably in all ways except this) who were sponsors of F1 back then, so we had VIP access.

Oddly, I don't particularly remember getting to walk around the paddock (I'm sure I would have), but we were in the VIP boxes in the main stand  where I do recall being able to watch the cars live, in front of us, and on tellys when they were out of sight. Kids, eh?  :D

Neither do I remember who won the races, although looking at the years the race was at Brands Hatch and when we probably went, it was probably Jochen Rindt (1970) and Emerson Fittipaldi (1972).

I do however remember walking around the air park after the race and getting up close and personal with Graham Hill's twin engine Piper Aztec that he used to fly in on race days. Of course, it was this plane he died in, crashing in 1975. I vaguely recall meeting his son, Damon Hill, who's just 6 months older than me, although I also vaguely reckon this is an untrue fact that my aging brain has chosen to insert into my memory to make a better story of it.

Ah, reminiscences. But, even though I didn't fly to the GP in a chopper (and noting that Jem's video includes the Red Arrows), I can say I have flown one of these:

and one of these:

so I'm not too jealous
