Hi Jem!

New to the board but a Frost* enthusiast since '06...

I recently heard the RoS Fest intro and thought it was brilliant.  For as much as I love the gig itself, I keep going back to Track 1 JUST to hear that intro.

I play in a pop/rock band for fun and wanted to do something similar in terms of intro music for our pub gigs - our Firebird Suite is pretty tired and terribly pompous, right? - but with no songwriting talent and no Fantoms within reach, I'd like to know if you might be willing to add a vocal-free version of that intro to the Toys section so we might add our own verses to it.  The other guys are Frost* fans as well and we'd love to add a little Frost*iness to the show!

Thanks in advance for your consideration!

Cheers,

Kev

See, that's exactly what makes Frost*, Jem and this forum so special!  :D

Can you imagine the response from other bands to a similar request? 'Dear Tony Banks, would you please run me off a special instrumental version of one of your tracks?'  If you even got a reply, the 2nd word would be 'off'.  ;)
Come on, you\'re a lion!

When I first read that, I thought, "one must have spectacular testaculars to make such a request."  I see Jem's generosity knows few bounds.

So, what's the charge for a Jem solo house concert a la Dunnery?
...and I can feel the world is turning...turn around

Mr Jem, thou art a gentleman and a scholar.

(And with this rather blatant piece of post-whoring, I'm finally a Tunnocks Caramel Log  :D )

Thanks, Pedro ... less than a quarter of your tally, but I blame my loquacity. I'll set my sights on Iced Gem status by 2012 ...  ;)
