It was really rather good. Most enjoyable. And educational as well.

Sublime suggests the performance was in some way less than lime or under lime, perhaps a citrus-filled sarnie or a poorly coloured underwater transport.  I hope this clears things up for everyone.

we used lime to spread over the poo in our outhouse (back in the day).

I know this isn't what is meant.

Lemon in the outhouse could be a metaphor for something. Like... Umm... Apples in the barn? Don't know if that helps at all...
