I miss the blog. The blog was simple, easy to digest, and a fun bit of factual prose. I have no idea how you youse these MyTwit, Facespace MyBo things, and I'm only 20, yet I'm rooted in conventional discussion fora, Instant Messaging and personal websites.

I've tried to understand these things but I just don't get them. Why do I need to b 'friends' with everyone I met back in High School on Spacebook? Do I really need to know what Stephen Fry had for breakfast on Fritter, and what was the point in MyPlace?

I've used LinkedIn which is a good professional contact directory, but... I log into my Quitter and it doesn't show anything from Jem at all, even though I'm subscribed tohim, or watched to or following or twitting or married to or mated with or whatever term they use now.

Someone explain this, I only joined Twitler to watch Jem because the blog stopped, now I just don't understand and the forum is moving along with all these new word, Estoernic, The Forget you Song, and II feel I'm missing details which aren't even present here.

Drunk posts FTW!

The blogs back up, Twitter is back up, you don't 'need' to be friends with anyone, just sometimes its nice to catch up with people you knew a long time ago (sometimes it isn't but there's the sum of human relationships for you), MySpace started as a social network site but rapidly evolved into a site for artists to freely share their music and/or other projects quickly and easily with thousands if not millions of fans and helped launch the careers of hundreds of artists and several big stars (Lily Allen and The Arctic Monkeys chief amongst them in the UK), the Esoteric evenings were three gigs which have been pretty heavily covered on several topics, they 'replaced' the 'Two J's and an A' evenings although I should imagine they were largely the same thing just with less Andy and much more Nathan, The Forget You Song has been knocking about for ages most notably on MySpace but now also on the Frost*fest tour CD which is a prequel of sorts to the full Philadelphia Experiment live CD which is due out sometime in the new year, the song was written I believe for EIMA but is very close in subject matter to Toys and also is very poppy (and very awesome) and so was left off for later release with the other 'leftovers' which I think I'm right in saying will be included with the live CD and documentary DVD (although Jem's plans regarding that have changed in the past).

Ask and you shall receive =) hope that helps.

:D  Wow, that's an impressive answer Danny!  But try reading all that out loud in one go though - one full stop in 251 words!

....and you'll have read the VFTC before the newest one (you are still checking it, right? ;) ) in which says another blog is a possibility. :)
