Sounds like progress is being made. I'm looking forward to all the forthcoming trials and Cubulations.

Wow Jem ... its going to take some time to turn that pile of rubble into a studio  !
... it was like watching a peach jelly f##k a steel drum ..

Jem

Not so much the time that's scaring me, more the cost.....

It's not so bad ... I'm sure your accountant will make sure you claim back a fair chunk of it against your taxable income  :D

Just tell thine wyfe .. the more you spend the more you save !

Yowza!  Did you know it was going to need that much work, or did it just take on a life of its own??  I have found with virtually every renovation I have ever done, it ends up being twice as extensive and costly as first appearances.  But I am sure in the end you will have a stellar place.....and I have to say, the property itself is stunning!  In the end, it will be a great place to create.

mmm - it's  bit small - but on the other hand, it does come with an enamel bucket included in the price - which is currently £17,389.19.

Hmm, illustration shows three inhabitants but only two beds...
Also to be found running the website and merch sales at www.lifesignsmusic.co.uk

I like that image, ground zero upstairs, wooden shed door (with cat flap) left ajar downstairs. A very British approach to muddling through, what? :)

I love the last image, the CGI one of it in action. But there are three people in there and only two beds! Maybe the third chap's in there just in case food stocks run low... But they'd still be breathing valuable air, so maybe they plan to do away with him sooner rather than later. Maybe they have a particular fondness for veal..?

It's clearly a case of hot-bedding - just like hot-desking, only with beds. After all, you'd need someone to be awake and monitoring things all the time, wouldn't you? So you'd never have more than 2 asleep at once. Thinking about it, you could probably manage with one bed and a 3 8-hour shifts in 24 hours sleep rotation system.

So, following the last blog entry and the whole gentleman's club thing...

I can see that 'The Blagdon' might not work, but given the proximity of the village with the greatest name in Britain, I can't help but think you need to incorporate Nemptnet Thrubwell in there somewhere...

'The Thrubwell' surely has a ring about it :)

 Nempnet Thrubwell is a belter isn't it? There's loads of places round here with great names, they all sound like Victorian detectives.  :D
