There should be a Sid James laugh to go with that.

Catherine's poster reminded me immediately of one of the odder bits of film music on my iPod (ripped from a properly purchased CD, mind you), represented here by its original LP cover. I've never seen the film, but the music certainly has its moments (for good and for bad). Anyone else have this and/or seen it?

Oh, and moving on from that, what about this soundtrack by Simon Fisher Turner from the completely unknown film Melancholia? Some amazing bits, in particularly the beautiful "Archist". Ahh ... (where's a smiley for love when you need one?)

Hello again!
Or... HOWDY YA'LL!!!
a few things...
1. Am i the only one here that seems not to know anybody else on this site?
2. Is there any chance that TDL will be released on major online/computer retailers? (because buying a CD is a pain in the @$$ since i live in TX, the land of musical ignorance and such...) (iTunes, Amazon MP3, etc.)

w/e its nice to be back  :)

Never heard of online mailorders who actually mail you the physical product? You know what... even Amazon does that these days !!  8-)

Naa, naa, i meant itunes/amazon mp3 as the online download retailers. i guess the placement of my parentheses was kinda misleading. w/e i hope you know what i meant

Pedro

I don't know if there are plans for download sales but once the physical product is available you might be able to order it via Nellie (our wonderful shop keeper). This has worked well for far-flung Frost*ies before.

So who's tuning in this saturday night/sunday morning?

If I'm not mistaken I'll need to stay up 'till 4:30. That's 3:30 in the UK then.

Should be worth it though.

It depends if the weather is kind to us and I get to do the photoshoot I have planned with the guys doing this: http://www.longrideround.co.uk/  (unashamed plug their raising money for a cancer centre) we hope to do it this weekend but if we  can't do it before Sunday I won't be staying up Saturday night just in case we are albe to do the shoot on Sunday

Pedro

I'm hoping to (and will be setting numerous alarms).
The on-line chat was fun when EIMA was trailed and I got Frans to give a shout out to all Frost*ies (only he forgot and did it a whole song later by which time any Frost*ies had switched off!).

I might try to rig up the PC to record it automagically if I can figure out how...just in case I....zzz

Hmmm, will be on a ferry in the middle of the North Sea when "Interview with a Progger" and (I presume) the world premiere of "The Dividing Line" (the song) are broadcast, so won't be able to listen in or set up my Mac to record it, I fear

I'm nevertheless hoping that someone will be making some form of recording and that it'll be made available to poor souls like me shortly after (pretty please). Or, since she European Perspective is available as a podcast (hi, Wilf: have just caught up with your "Best of 2009" epic programme, so am now only three and a bit months behind [they're too long to fit into a week's worth of my commuting, dammit  :D ]), will this 10th anniversary festival be too?

Anyone know?

Mouse

I hope it's podcasted (correct term?), but I might just stay up and listen to the whole thing, if my broadband connection's willing and able. Gives me an excuse to do some work.  :D

ich_bin_besser

I'm fairly sure this whole thing will be saved somehow. I mean, 10 years deserve it.  8-)
I'll ask Shawn.
