Playing at the House of Progression festival along with Tinyfish and It Bites on the 8th; the festival also has IQ, The Tangent and Sean Filkins on the 7th.

Weekend early bird tickets will be available end Feb; £50 I think.

Frost* mark 3?

A reasonable guess as it happens - Dec with JJ and Colin Leijenaar, Neil Morse's European band leader.

New liveband Dec Burke

Posted on Wednesday, 15th February 2012

Former Darwin's Radio star Dec Burke will play some shows in support of his strong current release "Paradigms and Storylines" and also it looks like he's finally got a new group project on the go:
"Im doing a new group this year with Collin Leijenaar, the live drummer with the Neal Morse band and
former Frost* überbassist John Jowitt, who's playing on my solo project too. At this moment I have some
ideas, but I'm hoping we will write as a band."

The project is as yet untitled bit Dec is making all the right noises. "It's going to be in a more proggie vein, more technical playing, Spock's Beard/Frost* territory. We've had a couple of jams and I'm very exited about this one, I think it'll be good. We could very well have an album's worth of material by the end of the year, and we'll certainly do some promo gigs and see how it's received."

Plus a mystery keyboards player who's "a bit good".  Anyone fancy owning up?

Quote from: "Dec's website"Writing away furiously for the new album which Patrick and I are writing & producing together.

Andersson/Burke Project:Is gathering momentum. 4 songs on the drawing board, working titles: Lie to Me - Fading Away - Closure - Out there in the Silence
This is shaping up to be a very cool album, catchy pop/rock songs......you'll love it :-)

Jowitt/Leijenaar/Westworth/Burke project: Prog, prog & more prog, this is a full on prog rock assault, the writing going great!

Other news: I've contributed a guitar solo to a song on Simon Godfrey's upcoming project.

That's about it for now, I hope to meet some of you at the upcoming UK dates
