Anybody here who might be a Radiophonic Workshop fan?

If you're (like me) a rabid RABID Maida Vale fanatic you can now own your own 1960's Radiophonic Workshop courtesy of Giogio Sancristoforo who's basically invented a time machine which, in itself is wonderfully poignant, if you get my drift.  ;)

It's only 10 Euros. If you're an electronica/Dr Who/Musique concrète enthusiast, g'wan... treat yerself to a slice of how they actually did it.

It is BRILLIANT Derbyshire-tastic fun.  :D

Pedro

Bah! 'Tis Mac only....

That makes it a shade over 10.69 Euros for me. :(

Mac only?! Noooo!    Oh well. I suppose I can always make cool noise they way they originally did it. Where're me pots and pans?  :)

SerFox

Mac only? Result!

Take that PC users, go back to your world of plentiful free VSTs which I cannot use. Go on, off with you!

(Love the new lol icon, way more giddyful :D)

Oh and I see it is a MAX 5 plugin, I recognized the sliders and such. Good stuff. I might be able to mess with it a little for fun tweakery...

MAX is awesome.

Speaking of whom, there was a rather interesting prog on t' wireless last night about Darling Delia that kept me awake on my drive back from The Nibblers*. Fa-sascinatin'. She was an utter geek - had I known more about her at the time I'd have been completely in lust with her.
Ahem.
Anyway.
It's available on iPlayer - http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00rl2ky - until next Saturday (3/4/10 for those viewing the repeat of this episode) and will be repeated tomorrow (Monday) arvo on R4 at 1500.

I always regret not purchasing a Radiophonic Workshop bastardised DX7 years ago from the Guitar Amp and Keyboard Centre in Brighton. Had all sorts of wierd knobs and buttons poking through the case....
