Time for a quick plug.
Tinyfish will be playing 2 acoustic gigs in the not too distant future.

Gig #1 is supporting Jump on their 20th anniversary tour appearance at THE PEEL Kingston on 24th April.
This will be a brilliantly entertaining evening of tales and toons.//http://www.tinyfish.org/
Gig #2 is at the Progeny Fringe Festival in Leamington Spa on 8th May. It's a lunchtime set so and the pub does excellent fodder //http://www.classicrocksociety.co.uk/

I shall be attending both gigs so hope to see some or all of you there  :D
It's in the post!

I intend to be at The Peel and would love to be at Progeny, but the travel is a huge boulder blocking the way of this path (metaphorical, innit).

Can't wait to see the chaps live again, they always deliver a blinder!  :D

RacingHippo

I'd love to get to Progeny but it depends a lot on availability of spondulicks.
If I'm going, you can have a lift, Mouse ;)

Ooh, cheers bud!  :)  I better start checking costs of things, just to be safe...

Nellie

Nothing more to add here, just thought I'd crank it back up to the top

Anyone going to the Peel on Saturday?

We were thinking about it but probably can't due to an early start on Sunday (for Phila, not me!)  :D

I can't get to The Peel   but I am going to Progeny.  :D

Nellie

I'm going and Bert's going and lots of Tinyfish fans are going and so are lots of Jump fans. It will be a great night with some great music and great tales  ;)

C'mon people, climb aboard! Tinyfish are playing in a pub, so you can have a meal and get pissed and everything! It only costs a fiver, too! (I say it only costs a fiver, I forked out £43 for a train ticket there and back...   )

Apart from the splendid Tinyfish on Saturday, is anyone going to the Progeny fridge festival on Friday night to see 2J's and a bit of Magenta?
I know I am.

Fridge festival?

I can't get there until the Saturday morning, so I'm missing the 2 J's. I'm staying until Sunday night.

Pedro

We can only do the Friday night so we'll miss loads but happy to see 2C's and 2J's...if both J's make it! ;)

RacingHippo

Well, I'd pretty much ruled out the possibilty of me getting to any of the fridge festival due to
a) It being 140 miles and 2.5 hours away, and
b) being too broke to be able to afford the fuel and hotel bills.

However, yesterday I was asked to hot-foot it down to Cheltenham for a company meeting on Friday.
Which means that I shall be driving past Leamington on Friday evening.....
I think I might just stop for a while

I don't relish the prospect of driving home quite a lot after midnight, but these are the sacrifices we have to make ;)
