Quote from: "AndreasK"It's great that I've finally found a forum to hang out at where my calorie filled lifestyle is not only accepted, but supported! Keyboards, wine, cheese and potatoes, life surely cannot get any better.

umm, you forgot the most important calorie-producer here:  biscuits!!

Quote from: "AndreasK"On a related note, I am SO VERY HAPPY that the Fantom G is mostly encased in aluminum because I made the mistake of eating a (freshly grilled and DELICIOUS) sausage in my studio! Not only did the explosion of molten liquid porkfat  splatter itself dangerously close to the dynamic pads, but it also ruined one of my displays and caused a permanent blemish on one of the tung oiled guitars!

mmm, sausage.

There can be no other forum where synthesizers and sausages can share a topic so effortlessly.  :D

LMAO!!   Excellent!
On A Side note, Sausage Gravy and Biscuits is Most Deff. The Perfect Food. But You Must First Take 2 Fried Eggs, Strategically Place Deposits of HashBrown Potatoes around Said Eggs, Position 3-4 Biscuits in a way that they can be easily available for each fork full. Once this is all In place You Smother the Entire creation with Sausage Gravy.  I Call this the Barnyard Buster. Its a Must have dish for every Keyboard Player! Guitarists and specially drummers just can Not handle its Goodness!  :P

Clarification: biscuits as in "Biscuits & Gravy"

Some UK readers might be alarmed and think that a) they are not biscuits and b) that is not gravy.
I can confirm that the US version is delicious. I imagine that the UK conversion (Custard Creams and Bisto ) would not be.  :)

A Barn Yard buster? Nothing like a cow biscuit to top it off.

Malted Milk!!!!!!!!!  :D
Just finished a pack of those off last night... delicious!!!!

I'm a Rich Tea, Fig Roll, Chocolate Hob Nob, Chocolate/Caramel/Orange Digestive fan..... oh and I particularly like any Foxes Biscuuiits(Italian American accent attempt!!!!)!!!! ;)

Anyway... Kurzweil = Loveliness!!!!! I'm a big fan of the Kurzweil PC3.. especially when you compare all the demos on YouTube to the Roland Fantom G(Jems videos are an extreme exception because he's the only guy that's made me interested in the Fantom in the firast place... Geek edition = BRILLIANT), Korg M3, Yamaha Motif XS... They are all great keyboards but, for me, the Kurzweil PC3 just has that bit of class.... Only thing is lack of sampling (which I know will be, sort of, available with the PC3K)...

Here is what I think of the PC3:

I bought the KDFX effect board for my K2500r a couple of years ago. Completely transformed the sound. Crystal clear with no background hiss anymore. Love the synth, did many a video game soundtrack with it.

Not sure if this has been mentioned before but Frost*-friendly Touchstone's Rob Cottingham is rather keen on Kurzweil too - as can be seen in their Artist's Lounge. :)
