Jem, if you're subbing for Cheryl or whatever are the weekend gigs, particularly 3/12/10 Manchester still viable?

My God how much can one Godfrey do?!

A lot so it seems.  :D

Good luck with everything!  :)

Re the X Factor...please say you're in charge of musical arrangements. It would make such a nice change to the usual karaoke endings to songs and general cheese factor.

If it comes together...that's exactly what I'll be doing, as part of a team.

But the deal's not done yet though and I'm not cheap.

Awesome news .. fingers crossed for the deal, which I'm sure will be done ... I'm sure it will be, you do have previous form (having given Mr C a Christmas number one already) ... and of course exquisite taste.

Hope you get the gig ... can't wait to see X factor with wild versions of songs done in 7/8 ... we will of course expect much blogging and sillyness on video  :D
... it was like watching a peach jelly f##k a steel drum ..

There's nothing wrong with being cheap, y'know ... Oh, that kind of cheap. Ah well, what do powerboats go for by the hour these days ... ?  8-)

That'd be amazing and, to be fair, not a bad thing to learn for a budding vocalist I imagine. Althought I can't imagine many people being up for properly bonkers time signature changes (imagine in the vein of Unexpect/BTBAM/Dillinger).

Hooray, something good-music realated happening in the midlands! I wonder what though, obviously it's the day after the Robin 2 gig, so surely not another gig? Speculate wildly!

Crikey, Jem! Hope you don't lose your head doing all that!

Exciting times indeed.  :D
