Re- my comment about forum shirts potentially affecting shirt sales, I agree with Pedro that it's unlikely (knowing us lot) I was just trying to think of reasons that it might get shot down, other than the logistics/ order quantity etc.

Ultimately we all want the band to succeed and continue to produce quality music for our enjoyment, but having just come off the back of a relatively costly run of gigs in terms of investment over return I know that sometimes the sensible chioce is not necessarily the popular one....... :D

You're right, there is an order to events and a right way to approach it.
This thread has been valuable to me because I have been able to declare a realistic level of demand.

If/When I get the go ahead from Big Daddy and we have agreed to the design, etc. I think we'll start an "official" thread where people can formally commit their interest and when that hits the threshold (whatever that is these days) then there will likely be a deadline declared after which shirts will be produced and money will change hands etc.

IIRC, the IB thing was really handled by VitaminP separately from the band, so I don't think we'd be making work for Jem or Nellie here BUT it's entriely up to them if and how this gets set-up.

So, to be clear, the order of events I see it is :-

1. Vitamin P has said he's prepared to do it  :) BUT has to find a new shirt supplier - previous trusted one has shut down. :(
2. Jem says if he's happy for it to happen or not.
3. Vitamin P proposes a design (he's not produced a duff design to date) and colour/style/size range.
4. We say if we want to buy it/some.
5. If enough of us commit then shirts ahoy!

Patience is the name of the game yet again....  :)

Vitamin P has also said he is open to suggestions.
One of the things that made the IB shirt soo good was the "Oh my God, the genius of it all..." lyric which worked brilliantly and wasn't just a forum "in-joke".

There are a LOT of Frost* lyrics that would be ideal for a shirt. Perhaps that should be a separate thread, though.

Like you say, there are probably others but that works quite well as a slogan with the additional un-stated meanings....
(Because of Frost*) Your world is now officially a better place. Trust me...(I'm a Frost*ie). :)

Another vote for 'Your world................' :D

I recall one suggestion from last time being using quotes from the reports ('..made from cats', 'your a lion',' the power of rawk' etc) although I reckon getting a concencus on this may be difficult.

Do You realize How easy it would be to make a Frost* Cereal?? The only catch would be to make it completely different like maybe including powdered milk so it can be eaten with water!! ---------off to patent office---------- :D

I've just been having an e-chat with Vit P about the forum t-shirts. He's going to have a rummage round for a new t-shirt printer who come come up with the goods as his old printers when bust recently. Very sad and annoying as they were brilliant.
